- Mandatory strict attendance criteria, u get debarred if attendance is low.
- Lack of a big playground have to travel far from the college for sporting needs.
- Over punctuality, gate closes at 9:15 and again reopens at 9:30 for less than 5 minutes, creates problem for day scholars relying on public transport.
Course Curriculum Overview
High Discipline, availability of equipments, Excellent management and last but not the least good placements. Discipline is required to tackle real world obstacles and also to build a character and self respect in the world, during higher studies, Universities will expect us to know basic discipline and behaviour to talk to professionals, talk into successfull discisions and deals.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities start comming from the firat year itself and never ending one ofter the other you are always occupied with learning and gaining knowledge. Projects and outcomes are recorded by the college which gives significan boost in your placements.
Placement Experience
From 5th semesteritself students are allowed to sit in placement drives and are elegible to be placed, About 80% students are placed frequently by TCS and Cognizant.Highest packages from top companies as offered to students are not less than 72 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The admission fees each semester is 85000/- excluding the hostel fees, at the end of each semister we pay the End Semester Exam fees which is 1200/- after which we get the admit card and can sit for the Exams.The Admission fees above mentioned includes the development fees, registration fees, development fees, lab fees and no external charges are applicable during the time of course completion. This fee structure is applicable for day scholars and private PG students, those who wish to stay in the college hostel have their charges included in the Semester fees. Most of my batchmates are day scholars and hence they pay the same amount whereas some of my batch mated live in private PG so for them too the semester fees are only applicable. But some live in the college hostel they pay extra as the hostel fees. Tution fees are also externally added with the semester fees if a student is i n need of tuitions under the college faculties. Student loans and scholarships are also available for all students studing here.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is top noch and campus is big enough consisting of 3 buildings with floor numbers 4,5,6 respectively and each floor consisting of 10 rooms, equipped with smart learning facilities in every room. Clubs provide opportunities to sharpen our skills and knowledge and are coopereative in every way.
Admission
I did apply to Techno India Group and successfully achieved a position there but i still decided to persue my future in this college because my seniors and some of my elders i know graduated from this college and are now well established in their lives.
Faculty
he faculty to student ratio is 1:20. The faculty and the students share a brother sister or parent-childrain relationship, any problem, any issue will be resolved and they help to clear doubts and guide us to their goals.
Interview Experience
Yes a computerised MCQ baised test was taken where 50% marks needed to be obtained in order to get Btech admission in CSE. I did prepare for JEE so I was somewhat prepaired for it. Even though i could not do much but still I secured enough marks to get Btech in CSE in UEM campus.
Night Life
The College Campus is never in the dark u can stay in the campus till 7 pm and the surroundings includes an never ending busy roadway and side malls as well as various small snack stalls. Hostel in timings are 7:30 latest. One of the famous hangout spots outside the college ios the Biswa Bangla Gate.
