Fee structure is little bit expensive but worth because they provide you with as many facilities as you want. If you are planning to do study in thapar then go for it and don't look for the expensive because if you are in thapar you will get a job and earn more then your in expensive in a year.

Thapar gives merit cum means scholarship to the students whose family annual income is less then 3.5lac and they also give merit scholarship to the scholar students the students who secure 1st 2nd and 3rd position in class. They give tution fee wavier to all of them. Also they provide medal to the 1st position student.

You can take part in any sports you like. They provide you with each and every sports gears. And there is an event in every one or two months. IZHAAR is the well known event in which each n every student can participate and enjoy the moments.

As I am day scholar i dont known much about hostel and all but I visit hostel 4-5 times the hostel infrastructure is soo beautiful and they provide each and every thing which a student needs. They gives a cool environment to student. They also provide a library inside a hostel so that hostler can easily go and study there.

All the seniors are very helpful they show you the right path about how to study what to study and when to study. We can easily connect with our seniors as they take a day with the juniors and interact with them.

There is a semester system is thapar. Firstly in a semester MST occurs which is of 25 or 30 marks depend upon the teacher these marks are also added in the finals so you have to take this seriously and there will be a quiz to 15 or 20 marks and a lab evaluation of 20 or 25 marks again everthing is depend upon your teacher then upto Est (end semester exam) already 60 marks has done remaining 40 marks will be your EST which is of 100 marks but weightage is of 40%

Admission is based on the merit list then the list of shortlisted students are enclosed then on one particular date there will be an inteview session in which the college also check your documnets and if got selected then you have to submit the fee on the same day.

The faculty of my college is highly educated they know the answer of every question they are expertise in their fields. If they don't know anything they don't hesitate to say it but they will definately clear your doubt on the very next day.
