Likes

The university has a modern campus with good classrooms, labs, libraries and hostel with free wifi.
Most teacher are knowledgeable and supportive .
placement support is strong , especially for engineering, management and it fields .

Dislikes

some class are overcrowded so personal attention sometimes becomes difficult
the curriculum is good, but sometimes the pace is fast and assignment load feels heavy
fees increase every year, which can be a concern for some students

i would rate the course curriculum as highly relevant and fairly comprehensive one of the main reasons i chose this course wasthe mix of practical subjects like programming, databases, networking, and project-based learning, which aligned well with industry requirements.

Fees and Financial Aid

i am currently study in chandigarh university . my fee pay is 160000 per year. and then total fees is 320000. And fees increase every year compared to pervious batch. And IN my batch punjab sc category have free education

Campus Life

My overall campus experience at chandigarh University has been vibrant and engaging the social enivronment is friendly, and there are plenty of opportunities to connect with people from different states .campus life feels active throughout the year due to events, clubs, and student activities.

Admission

I had applied to a few other college as well, including 2-3 private university and a state university. i got confirmed admission in two of them, but i chose chandigarh university mainly because of its better placements records, modern infrastructure, flexible course structure, and the wide range of specializations available.

Faculty

At chandigarh University, the faculty-student ratio is around 1:25, and most teachers are approachable and helpful. some professors explain concepts very well abd support students in project.while a few tech too fast or focous more on theory.

Interview Experience

yes, My admission process included a Group discussion followed by a personal interview, but there was no wriiten test in my case . In the GD round, the topics were mostly related to current affairs and general issues. some topics given to our batch were "impact of social media of youth".

Night Life

Nightlife inside the campus is limited because is limited beacause of rules,but students still find many ways to relax and hang out after classes. the campus environment is decent and the area around it are generally safe, especially near the main road and student zones

The life of a middle class student in a high profile college.

Placement Experience:

For campus placements college dont have any class. I vistited companies like BMW but they rejected me beacuse of my less knowledge. As college claims you get the packages of 10to 15 lachs higest and average package is 4to5 lakhs . The percentage you required is 75%. I am going to UK after i get this degree and then i am going to do data science there.

A journey towards my dreams

Placement Experience:

A placement facility is provided by the college. There are special classes for students so that they get prepared for the placement drives and interviews. Eligibility criteria are different for different companies, the minimum is 60%. Various companies like Amazon, and Wipro visited our campus and the package is based on the companies. The average package is 4-5 lpa.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
