University's envioremnt is very positive . University must work on industrial and professional training for their students so even if they don't place they can have good exposure of industries from companies like tcs , john deer, tech Mahindra , Birla soft , Infosys etc on new technologies . They should think about MCA department which is lacking behind in the race of placements and quality education.

University has continuous credit based system so they have semester system in each semester there will be 2 minors + quiz + major . Course curriculum of MCA is almost like bca when we were studying except just few subjects were extra but now they have added new subjects such as cloud computing to their curriculum and python for btech students .

Placements are good for btech students for MCA there is only tcs, infogain, nagaroo and other Chandigarh based companies during 2018 but for btech there is Capgemini, Amazon , ey, tcs , nagaroo, trident etc.

Tss and cess is their in csc and cse department they organise many events on weekly basis more over there is youth festival , jashan (competiton among departments), tech fest etc. In short you will enjoy your uni life.

For MCA it was 60k + 40 k for each semester for three years . For sc students there is no fee. So for general quota it's quite expensive but it is still better than other private colleges in city who charge 100 thousand per semester .

There are various schemes by university like if you are single daughter, you don't have father , you are poor you may get 50% scholarship by the university there is also minority scholarships as well .

University has big area covered with green lash beauty they have hockey stadium , cycle stadium , basket Ball ground , cricket ground, archery , badmintion , wrestling , weight lifting , table tennis , indoor games etc. university has scored very will on the national level in various games.

Our seniors were very helpful if we talk about freshers party or their farewell party then Freshers for our juniors or about notes , previous year question papers , seeking help about how to prepare for placements everything was so cooperative.

University conduct enterance exam for the admission. There are total 60 seats in university for MCA three year course. You get campus on the basis of your rank and preferences. University also has their regional campuses.

You will learn more if you get permanent teachers they have years of experience all these teachers are PhD holders there also aspiring young research followers to guide you through out your journey in university more over Dr. Parminder Kaur , Dr. Kahlon , Dr. Kuljeet kaur , Siddharth sir (commerce and mba teacher) are really good.
