LPU DE

The eligibility required for MCA is students should have done bachelor's degree in computer science with mathematics as one of the subjects. The application form is available online on the official website of LPU DE with application fees of Rs 500/- or available offline with the prospectus. The application dates have started for this session. There are no such reservation benefits for distance education programs as they have an affordable admission fee option with a partial payment option as well.

I had chosen this course because of my background in IT course. As I had applied for a distance programme so we don't have any student ratio as such and we have a great mentor who helped me throughout my course. Lpu has helped us through webinars, online study material and online lectures for studies. The main feature is PCP classes where we get to know the faculty in person. My exams were conducted twice in year and it was quite easy to pass as we have proper guidelines.

They offer internships and job opportunities by conducting walk-in interviews with top companies on campus. Distance students also participate in these interviews and get to know about the companies and get really good salary packages.

The fee structure is quite affordable and we have an option for partial payment. We do have certain government scholarships that LPU DE supports for scheduled caste but not any such recommended by them because the fees were less as compared to regular courses.

As I had done my masters in distance education so there were no such social experiences as I was working but we have certain opportunities or events conducted by LPU DE for distance students like fests.
