Course Curriculum Overview
the course curriculam of LPU is structured in a way that cover basic theoritical concepts, but in many cases it does not feel very relevant to current company requirements. Course structure looks atractive on paper but in reality its of basic type without practical information. They mention big words like cloud, Database but in reality they teach only theoritical concepts not practical concepts.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure at lpu is quite expensive compared to many other universities offering similar course, students also have to pay tuition fees , examination fees, registration fees, admission charge, lab charges, development charge, and may other compulsory university charges. hostel and mwess fees are also quite high ususlly 100000-150000/- per year.
Campus Life
My experience with lpu campus life is not good, not good food, and thinking to change campus to pg or self room where i can cook proper food myself for my health, my overall experience with LPU campus or with LPU activities.
Admission
Many students choose these colleges bcz they saw big names on paper like cloud, database, python, java, linux but in reality they dont teach properly after admission many faculties skip practical portion covers only theoritical portion that fells worst to students and after 9am to 5pm classes student feels tired and not able to do self study. In my there case there is same i saw big names and take admission after admission i saw reality of system.
Faculty
Academic behaviour in lpu has mixed quality, but many students feel faculty is not good as expected. Course curriculum is designed with theory classes and the timimng of classes 9am to 5pm, there is no extra time for coding practice or for self study. Exams are usually of moderate difficulty but evaluation process feels unclear to students and you have to pay charges for re cheaking or for re appering.
Night Life
After 9-5 classes you dont thing about parties, clubs, or enjoyment , you have to focus on studies or for practicing coding/ programming languages for placements. If you dont prepare for that youu can't clear company exams for placement and after all of these things college said we gives you placement you dont prepare for that and company rejects you, It's your mistake not our's.
