Course Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum is comprehensive and has been recently updated in the year 2023. However, certain subjects in the first year should be removed like biology which is personally find irrelevant. The difficulty level of the exam can be graded between moderate to hard and the checking method is quite good.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities in the college are both diverse and numerous. Many students grab an internship in the third year and also even in the second year. They are offered good stipends and most importantly, they get a good experience by doing projects. My senior got an internship in Bharat petroleum.
Placement Experience
The placements in the previous year had been excellent especially in my branch having a great placement percentage. Apple recently visited the campus. The highest package was 81 lpa. My plans after getting the degree is getting a job a good job
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure can be broadly divided into two categories, one is the tution fees and the other is the charges for the hostel and the mess. The tution fees is further divided into three categories. For families having income more than Lakh, the tution fees is 62500. For 1lakh to 5lakh, 2/3rd of tution fees is waived off and for less than 1 lakh, there is no tution fees. The mess fees is 17000
Campus Life
The campus life is quite good. There are more than 30 clubs in the college offering various domains to get into. The sports culture is also quite good. Even in our hostel we are provided with four badminton courts and one basketball court.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are excellent as compared to other colleges. The meal qualities is also good. The registration process is very lengthy and the hostel is inside the campus itself. The hostels are clean and are maintained very nicely. The staff are also supportive.
Admission
I applied for all NITs across India for chemical engineering but according to marks,I found This institute best for chemical engineering. The admission process is very easy and it was the jossa counselling and then the CSAB counselling. I had a rank of 40449 and I got seat in this college by csab counselling. Since I was from general category I could get this only.
Faculty
The faculty members are good and well qualified. Some of the faculty are not up to the mark but overall it is decent. Exams are taken regularly and the classes have an excellent infrastructure. I love it personally
Night Life
The night life is not good. For the first year the end time has been restricted to 8:00 however there are many cafes. There is also a gym which can be accessed by anyone free of cost. There is also a library which can be accessed by anyone free of cost.
