Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose this curriculum as I am a great lover of maths which forced me to choose this curriculum and follow my passion . This course allow me to enter in any field suck as banking , railway , police , defence etc. This course can be made more interesting by giving practical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

3

There is many government provided internships namely MSME and AICTE and stipend between 10 to 18 thousand . I personally applied for internship from INTERNSVEDA for the course of datascience which is a 3 month course and they provide mock interviews .

Placement Experience

3

The placements of my college is satisfactory because the average package is 4.15 LPA which is not enough according to expenses . As my college comes in off campus of DELHI UNIVERSITY so , the companies and offers are limited . After completing my undergraduate degree I would apply for governments exams .

Fees and Financial Aid

I had paid RS.20745 for my first year fee ( Tuition Fee = 840 , University Fund = 1640 , College Fund = 18265)*general category There is neglible fees for pwd category in comparison to any other category . Other courses like Ba(H) and prog. have approx 5000 rupees less and for Bcom and Bcom(H) have approx 2000- 3000 less than my course. Under the National Loan Scholarship Scheme those students who have obtained a first division (60% marks or more) in their last examination can apply for a loan scholarship through the college. In addition, the college has a financial assistance fund with the objective of extending financial assistance to needy students. The college provide approx 20% of the total number of students on its rolls every year .

Campus Life

4

My college provide a great campus and social life . My college organises its annual cultural fest named 'SABRANG' and every department organises its own annual cultural fest , and many more technical and cultural fest held by NSS. My college has biggest library in entire south campus and it has wide range of books and journals. Facilities in classrooms are good but can be made better . Their is no sports ground for cricket and football which is very disgusting for a cricket lover like me . Social groups and clubs have a great impact on student life as it is very disgusting for a sports lover like me . Student run social groups and clubs are very impactful in a students life as it is a great source of small to small information regarding college and curriculum .

Admission

I choose this college because this comes under DELHI UNIVERSITY and it is government institution. The name and brand tag of DELHI UNIVERSITY forced me to crack the government exam take admission in this college. I got admission in DELHI UNIVERSITY through CUET-UG . I also applied in BHU university for same course but my marks was not enough and also my category was general , so didn't get admitted in any of the rounds.

Faculty

3

The student-to-faculty ratio at Deshbandhu College is 24:1. The faculty and student share a good, robust rapport. They are always available to help us. I like Dr. Pankaj Kumar for his passion towards teaching and Ms. Saloni Gupta for her nature and coolness from the Math Department. There are apparently 2 semesters a year. The paper level remains moderate as generally it is from PYQs. Still, students pass the exams

Interview Experience

4

I had yet not given any interview for internship. I had applied for one in February so , no experience till now . It is a paid course which I applied for and after the completion of course they will guide me for the interviews.

Night Life

4

Our college has a canteen , gymnasium, cafeteria and a park for hanging out after the class . Night life is good around my college as there is different - different weekly market and many food brands . College timings 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. Agarwal sweets , Mac Donald, Burger King , Burger Singh , Haldiram and several many more brands store to hang out . Our locality is safe to roam around at night as it is between residential area.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
