Best private college in west Bengal

There are many unnecessary subjects are being taught in first year. However, from 2nd year onwards everything will be fine. College canteen is one of the finest and cheapest college canteen in whole west Bengal.

Computer science and engineering followed by Information technology is the best branch in my college. There are two mid semester exams happens and best mark of the two is added to the final result.

Placement scenario in my college is mediocre but considering it is a non-governmental college, it is far much better than other private engineering college out there. Average placement of my branch is about 4.5-5 lpa but some student bags more than 10lpa.

There are various tech fests or cultural fests are organised on regular basis. Recently TED talk happened at my college. Besides all of this, there is one annual fest called "Heritage utsav" are organised per year in which any prominent celebrity guest are invited.

Considering it is a private engineering college, I find the fees is very much feasible for a normal middle class family, total expenditure during admission was ?73,000 and semester tution fees are about ?45,000. If someone decides to live in hostel, they will need to pay ?6000/month for hostel.

I availed student credit card loan scheme provided by government of Bihar. The loan sanction process is very easy, you have to issue bonafide from college and with all other required documents you have to visit DRCC of your district and within matter of time, it will be approved.

Labs are very good in my college especially computer lab which is equipped with many computers and are fully air conditioned. Condition of sport is little bit disappointing because college have one basketball court and one ground used both for cricket and football and that's it.

Senior students are very helpful, college is completely ragging free, seniors are always available and finds it pleasurable to help their juniors to help them in study or other activities in best way they can.

I secured a rank 3849 in reputed engineering entrance exam called WBJEE and applied for counseling online through wbjee official website. After that I verified my documents at one of the councelling centre and after 2 rounds I finally alloted a seat in my college.

They are most friendly and helpful faculties yet strict sometimes out there, they are always available in college for any doubt clearance. All of them have provided their email id and some of them their WhatsApp numbed so that we could reach to them anytime.
