What Students Say
Likes
- Location of th college makes travelling so easy that Hindu is among the most easily accessible colleges in DU.
- Not just joyous but one will find the most ambitious students here.
- The college in just one and a half year has made me think bigger and always aim higher.
Dislikes
- Subjects like SEC & VAC have been included with the intent of making the students learn new things however, the classes of these subjects do not take place regularly or teachers aren't available, so there's no point of having these subjects.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my 11th and 12th, I took biology and studying animals and about them garnered a deep interest within me. So, to understand the subject better I chose this course and I am quite happy as our course has given or rather taught us all aspects that any college offering Zoology will offer. In some ranking we are even above Symbiosis which is considered a pioneer college for the same course.
Internships Opportunities
Our dedicated internships cell Abhyas make us connect with research professors and we are hired by mostly the professors. We get to learn so much on the same and therefore it ain't about stipend but the kind of learning that we get is unimaginable.
Placement Experience
Our placement cells Disha has ensured that every student of the Hindu College gets a shot at placements. Yes no corporate for our stream but many research people hire us and some also get the opportunity to become professors or assistant professors.
Fees and Financial Aid
Hindu College charges a little more than its peers like LSR, St. Stephens or the Gargi College for that matter. Our fees including everything is 27410 in which the tuition fees is 18000 and rest all are additional charges.
Campus Life
As I have wrote earlier in my review Vishwavidyalaya metro station is just a 10 mins walk and at least in winters a walk to the college from metro station is so pleasant. Our college has two great cafeteria as both of them may not be serving the most nutritious food but tastiest for sure. Sports ground are finest and so are the classes and our auditoriums. We have way too many festivities and also the events and our main event Mecca is like one of a kind.
Admission
St, Stephens was the one I considered but they don't have this course and therefore Hindu became an automatic choice. CUET cut-off of 570 or nearby has been maintained as demand is such that many students are interested in this course.
Faculty
Faculties are gems as just the kind of teaching they provide is enough for us to attend classes and be ready for the exams. All the extra studies and all are also done in the classrooms as our syllabus is over much before the stipulated time.
Night Life
Well the best attraction point close to our college is Delhi's very own Qutub Minar. When it comes to hanging out close to the college we have cafes that are operational till late night and the best among them are The Crypto Door Cafe and Kaake Di Haati.
