- The peacefulness and security in our college is really commendable. Without id they won't permit others to enter in college campus. Students from other college can't enter in college in regular day.
- The staffs are really polite, health and green campus
- Professors are extremely knowledgeable and polite. Healthy student teacher relationship.
Dislikes
- Student teacher ratio is very bad. 1 teacher for almost 80 students
- Mobile network does not work in college campus for that we have wifi in our college
Course Curriculum Overview
My dream course was political science and as of now mirandahouse is one of the best college for arts india. Our professors conduct seminar even arrange educational excursion, by this they taught us lesson. Also sometimes they share their own journey to make us understand the competition. Recently s jaishanker came for a talk in our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid 15000 per year, those who are doing hons degree will give around 19000. Miranda house provides scholarship, for those who are financially weak. Beside delhi university also provides various scholarships.
Campus Life
We have so many societies in our college and our annual fest tempest. As im in my first year i will experience the fest in 2025. We have sports area and the practice is going on most of the time. If we are busy in societies and couldn't attend the class society provides ECA by this we get our attendance.
Admission
In cuet this year i gave my second attempt, and also i was enrolled in a college of kolkata, their i experienced toxic environment in terms of student teacher relationship, so i gave cuet for 2nd time, there i applied for only two university. Delhi university and a state university of delhi. My first preference was mirandahouse house. The admission process was very smooth. Eligibility is 750+, i gave English, political science and history and informatics practices paper in cuet but the process of cuet and nta events were really hectic for all the students.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is one teacher is for 80 students the faculty are really approachable as they are very polite and friendly, they provide a healthy bond for each student. Almost every faculty of political science and bengali are extraordinary. A semester exams are moderate, but the burden of CA and IA should be a matter of discussion.
Night Life
We have 1 gym, 4 cafeteria and 1 library. If I'm not mistaken, miranda house is the only college in which we don't have curfew. Day scholars are not allowed to be in the hostel area. One advise i would like to give is never try tom uncle's momo its pathetic. As i stay in pg i can't provide much information regarding night life in our college.
