- Heritage Institute of Technology is a reputated college but for somehow.. I don't like the fact why no fests happens in this college

I am currently in my 1st year of btech as told earlier... My branch is CSE with a specialization in internet of things and cyber security and Blockchain technology... I would rate the curriculum 8/100
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities in hitk is quite good.. one can convert the internship into a full time job.. also students get stipend for internships and internship period varies around (2 -7 months)... As I heard from my seniors..
Placement Experience
In our college, students from 3rd year have to do an internship program within a specific period of time(it can be 2 months, 3 months depending on it).. and from 7th sem.. student's are eligible for on campus placements.The companies that visit our college for campus placements are tcs, IBM, wipro, cognizant, and many more and approx 80% of students get on campus placements with an average package of 3.5-4 lpa every year.. And if I come to my plan after btech.. then absolutely job..
Fees and Financial Aid
Well.. so in my college.. the total Btech fees is ?5,89,200 for total 4 years.. (?69500 for 2nd to 8th semester and ?102700 for 1st sem which was already paid during admission).. I took admission into this college,i.e, Heritage institute of technology through wbjee counselling with a rank of 6009 in wbjee 2024. For management quota, one have to pay some extra donation fees as for direct admission (not through counselling). Also For tfw (tuition fees waiver ) scheme, the semister fees is ?9000 only for 2nd to 8th sem. Also.. many students who are domiciled in west bengal apply for the SVMCM scholarship.. through which one can get ?60000 per year of BTech. Over-all, the college is pretty good.. the campus life is amazing.. and the placement records are also good.. Thank you.
Campus Life
As I told earlier... My overall experience in this college till now is pretty good... The campus life if amazing and placements are also quite good.. and also there is sport facilities in your college.. and small events like dance event, fashion event, singing event, drama etc happens in our college... Many clubs are present regarding this like ghungroo, heritage fashion club etc .. I personally interested in the GDG club of HITK..
Admission
Well as I told earlier that I took admission into this college through my wbjee rank.. So basically I applied in my wbjee counselling.. my choice filling in counselling was like :- 1) Heritage institute of technology CSE(core) 2) Heritage institute of technology CSE(Artificial intelligence and machine learning) 3) Heritage institute of technology CSE (Data Science) 4) Heritage institute of technology CSE(Internet of things and cyber security including Blockchain technology) 5)Techno main saltlake CSE(CORE) 6) Techno main saltlake CSE (Artificial intelligence and machine learning) 7) Techno main saltlake CSE(Data science) 8) RCC Institute of information technology (CSE) 9) BP Poddar institute of management and technology (CSE) According to my rank.. I was alloted a seat in Heritage institute of technology CSE (Internet of things and cyber security including Blockchain Technology) in Round 3 of counselling.
Faculty
Though I am in my 1st year of btech.. but I have heard from my seniors that all the faculties are very helpful.. and I come to curriculum.. then to be very honest.. it is not hard to score 9+ cgpa per sem.. as this is an autonomous college.. teachers helps a lot for the semester exams.. and also I have heard from my seniors that faculties check answer sheets very liniently..
Interview Experience
Well... As I told earlier that I took admission into this college through my wbjee rank (6009)... So basically wbjee is an engineering entrance exam conducted in west bengal for admissions in engineering colleges in west bengal... Wbjee is a 200 marks offline OMR based MCQ examination... The curriculum of this examination is that Mathematics part is of 100 marks and Physics, Chemistry individually of 50,50 marks... Two papers basically one paper is for mathematics and another paper is for physics and chemistry combined... The time limit for both papers is 2 hours.. and students get a break of 1 hour between these 2 papers
Night Life
The library of hitk is very good.. the infrastructure of it is beautiful... There are ample amount of books in our library... For higher studies, books of Gate, Cat, Gre are also present in our library. And to be very honest.. I don't know anything about hostels.. as I am a day scholar.. but there are 2 girls hostel inside our campus
