My life in college

I chose Hindi course in college. It helped me learn a lot in life and was also very useful from the point of view of preparing for any exam. I was very interested in Hindi, so I took that subject. The novel included in the syllabus attracted me more towards it.

I paid 12230 as fee in first year, 13400 as fee in second year and 14650 as fee in third year. I have not taken any scholarship from my college. At the time of completion of the course, tuition fee as per category was 12000 and registration fee was 600. Category wise, all my batch mates paid more fees than me (18600 as fee).

The college changed my life completely. I was a very quiet girl but after joining it, I opened up to a great extent. I became very fond of its environment. There was greenery all around. I used to sit with my classmates and have a lot of fun. Every year something or the other used to happen here. Like meeting the author, debate competition, etc. Festivals in this college were even more fun. Like Diwali, Garba Night, etc. were celebrated with great pomp and show.

I had applied to other colleges also but did not take admission in them. Because it was a four year course and was not that famous. Actually, I did not get any rejection from that college, rather I did not take admission in it myself. I took admission in this college after hearing its name. I mean that this college has been ranked number 1 for 7 consecutive years and also the security system and environment of this college forced me to take admission in it.

There are a lot of faculty members in my college. Different departments have different faculty members. I was from the Hindi department, so there were a total of 15 or more faculty members in the Hindi department. There was a very lovely relationship between the students and the faculty members. Their way of teaching and their affection towards the students impressed me a lot. In my college, we had to give exams a total of 6 times. The exams were based on the syllabus, so they were easy.

I found the nightlife around the college to be very good. Girls could visit the hostel anytime late at night. The college looks even more beautiful at night. The library in the college used to close at 6 pm. The canteen also used to close at around 5 pm. From the security point of view, the area around the college was not that good to roam around.
