Mithibai colleges : why should you choose this college?

Being a student of this very college in junior College, our teachers influenced us into choosing the college for degree as well. June ma'am of psychology was really nice to us and encouraged us to choose psychology in mithibai College. Many students from different cities come mithibai because of it's amazing psychology department.

It has been made compulsory to have an internship in the 2nd year of degree college. The college also gives signed permission letters from the management for the students to get internship from multiple organisations and NGOs.

In the first year, students are expected to pay 13000 rupees. in the second year though the fees increases. the unaided fees are 50000 while the aided fees are 20000. There is facility for girl freeship programs and scholarship. Other courses like BSC and b.com have higher fees.

Mithibai has multiple festivals. Kshitij which is mithibai's very own cultural festival is also one of the largest in the City. Besides this,, finanza is the finance festival, mind labyrinth is the psychology festival, reclamo is the branding festival. There are many clubs and committees for students to choose from, like the green club, NSS, NCC, etc. Mithibai has a large library to choose from it also has access to many journals and articles online for the students.

I had also applied to St Xaviers College in CST. How ever there cutoff is very high and I couldn't get in. Mithibai college has a really nice infrastructure and in my personal opinion it is better than most colleges of Mumbai. The eligibility criteria of Mithibai is also quite high. Being a Gujarati minority college, most students come from Gujarati families. The admission process is smooth. Since mithibai is a government college, there are no chances of unfairness.

In bachelor courses there are 2 semester exams every year. Making 6 semesters in a three year course. The teachers are very qualified and approachable. The assignments and projects given by the college are very entertaining and makes understand the topic well. The teacher student ratio is 1:120. Psychology department's Ms khushali aadhya ma'am is worth being mentioned. She is one of the best teachers in the college.

There is a gym, multiple cafeteria's, libraries and a huge campus for the students. however there is no hostel in the college so students are not allowed to stay in the college until late. Places like Anand Vada pav and Gayatri Frankie are right opposite to the college. Cafes like chocolate heaven are also very near to the college. The college is surrounded by multiple places to eat from. the choices of food are also very diverse.
