Course Curriculum Overview

3

Syllabus is here quite outdated apart from c language, maths and physics other subjects of 1st year as of my brach IT areas useless . Class timing are good. There will be no days given for exam preparation. Since I haven't entered 2nd year i don't know more about my core brach

Internships Opportunities

5

Since I am a freshman i don't have any experience of interns . But internships here is actually good and there is 6 month internship program in 4th year . So here projects and interships are very good.

Placement Experience

3

Placements here is good in CSE , IT and Electrical.rest are going for Non core jobs and off campus. Placements are neither good nor bad . There are many companies visiting here but the top package giving is Microsoft. 40 percent are getting on campus placements 20 percent are going for off campus and rest either unemploymed or going for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees Per Year is same for everyone regardless of their branch but it varies with respective category of the candidates which they belong to as for General Candidates(OC/OBC Candidates with parental income more than Rs. 5 Lakh Per Annum )-68,000 SC/ST/PWD Candidates -5,500 OC/OBC Candidates(With parental income less than one lakh per annum)-5,500 OC/OBC Candidates (With parental income between one lakh per annum to five lakh per annum.)-26,333 Mess Dues (for students staying in Hostels) Amount per Semester Mess Caution Money(one time and refundable)-1,000 Mess Dues Advance (per semester and adjustable)-17,500 Mess Entrance Fee (per year and non-refundable)-3,000 Mess Establishment Fees (per semester and non-refundable) -4,000 With total hostel fees of 25,500/- This hostel fees is same as for everyone who stays in hostel At the time of admission one has to pay 29,000 rupees 25,000 for hostel and 4,000 for caution money and for 1st semester tution fee will deducted from the amount of counselling fees and rest of the amount will be refund later. As an EWS student i am going to pay only 5,500 for tution fees and 25,500 for hostel fees per semester There are plenty of scholarships you can apply for Like Reliance, Bhartiya Airtel, FFE, NSP and many others.

Campus Life

5

There will be 2 fests mainlyTechincal fest -Instruo and cultural fest-Rebecca . This college is excellent for sports and arts as there will be continuing fest and events which i likes most of this college Sports ground here is actual good except for badminton. We had a gym which is well equipped, A swimming pool, badminton court, volleyball court , basket ball court and 2 large grounds There will be 17 cluns odf sports are arts which we can engage and sharpen our skills.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility are good like there is good cleaning, well maintance and 24/7 water, electricity and wifi available. Mess menu is going to be decude by a student leader which we will be electing but the meals are not good in taste and un hygienic too. There si small canteen in our hostel which opens form 4 to 7 in the evening and there is room for TV and table tennis and carrom .

Admission

I chose this college apart from there college is mainly of the brach IT. With my rank 20k in jee mains I am getting NIT Warangal Mechanical, NIT Rourkela Chemical, NIT Trichy Civil, NIT Allahabad Mechanical. My interest is all about coding so I choose this college

Faculty

3

Faculties are good and some professors are hard . It is good to interact with them and they will explain you clearly. HOD of physics is not good he is not good somewhat like partial to other students. Faculty won't approach you neither care about your studies they will teach you and leave and explains anything of you want but it will not be more interactions ,it happens in most of the engineering college . Exams are pretty easy but labs are exhausting and some pointless to learn even though we have to attend.most of don't understand what the professor teaches since it's not like 12th where they care about each other and move to other topics unlike there, here they will teach more likely to be non understable. So we all learn from YouTube

Night Life

5

Going outside for freshers is not allowed. After night 8 gates are closed . So not night hangouts experience. Gym timings are 6-11 in the morning and 5-8 in the evening Cafeteria and libraries will be opened by morning 8 to night 8 sometimes libraries will be upto 12 at midnight. There were plenty of tourist places near by like Botanical Garden, Howrah Bridges, Shopping Malls , victoria palace, Niko park , Science City , Mahanth Temple , Salt Lake and many others.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT: At Brainware University students generally become eligible for campus placement from the final years of their course. For many programs placemnet preparation sactivities such as aptitude training, soft skills development, resume building, mock interviews begin earlier, you can say that these activities are incoporated from the 1st semester itself. COMAPINES VISIT: Several reowned and reputed compaines from IT, management, healthcare, media, and core sectors visits the university for campus recruitment. Placement drive include companines from domains such as software services, consulting, education, sales digital marketing etc. For my domain CSE AIML companies like Infosys,Amazon,Cognizant,Adobe etc visits. Each year multiple students receive job offers through campus drives and some students also secure multiple offers depending on their skills and performance. HIGHEST AND AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED: The highest package offered varies by course and recruiter and also with top performing students receive highest packages based on their role requirements and skills. It range from 12 LPA to 45 LPA. The average package offered to students is competitive for a private university and aligns with industry standards for entry level roles. These generally range from 3.5 to 8 LPA. PRECENTAGE OF STUDENTS GETTING PLACED: Placement outcome mostlky depend on academic performance, attendance, communication skills, technical knowledge, and participation in training sessions. Students who actively engage in placement preparation have better placement success. About 98% students were placed in 2023. MY PLAN AFTER GETTING THE DEGREE: After completing the degree my primary focus is to secure a jon through campus placement and gain practical knowledge. Along with working i will continuously work on my skills upgradation through certifications and training programs relevant to my field.
