Course Curriculum Overview
the couse curriculum is good and new subjects like aiml and data science is also there to give u enough knowledge to make u understand every concept and the frequency of exams are also decent to consider but if u r choosing engineering then consider that the frequency iof exams will be more
Placement Experience
students are eligible for placements from the 4th year oy 7th semester and companies like google , microsoft , apple, wipro, tcs , adobe visits here. highest placement is about 2 cr which is off campus and lowest is about 3.5 lpa which is in tcs ninja i guess. about 89% of students gets placed in my cse department and i am going to take placement after my college get over .
Fees and Financial Aid
year wise fees is approximately 60 thousand that includes tution fees of 35k,caution fees 4k, registration fees 1k,admission fees 6k,labfees 8k, other fees 6k. some of the students get 1/3 fee wavier , some get 2/3 fee wavier and some get full fees wavier just need to pay the hoatel and mess fees
Campus Life
there are evnts like rebeca which is also called pujo here beacuse it is a 4 day and night event and which typiaclly helds around april month and u r going to love the campus life if u r staying in hostel. our ramanujan library is very big 2 floor , seperate study area a sofa is also there to chill out and all types of books u will get there be it science arts or commerece. there is two big grounds , cricket , football , table tennis , badminton club etc there are also debate clubs and poems club for social development.
Admission
I choose this college because it is close to my home and its placement record is decent in cse and according to my rank i am getting this college which is ok. i am also getting nit dg but i choose this college because i loved the campus and its distance from my house. admission process is by giving jee mains and through jossa and csap
Faculty
i think the faculty to student ratio is 1:10 which is decent like you can consider and the faculties are friendly also which is a good think they are approachable . the examps in my department is not too easy nor too difficult . there are subjects which are a bit difficult but if u will study u will excell in that
Interview Experience
no u dont have to face any group discusiion for the admission but u need to pass the jee examination to get into this college after passing jee mains u will get to register urself in the jossa and then u will be able to get this college
Night Life
gym gets closed around 9 pm and library at 12 am midnigth and cafe's gets closed around 11 pm but there are stores outside the college campus. there is specific hostel timings for 1st years but no timings for others years of student there are famous places like victoria , south city mall , quest mall , avani mall , princep ghat and all kolkata to roam around and have fun.
