Overall review for Heritage Institute Of Technology

Btech information Technology is a well structured course on the course content is included various coding languages as well as have operating sytems,digital circuits, and relational databases concept and also have networking which are really inporant in placenents scenario and also have dsa and algorthims both of the backbone of problem solving and also have elective options like python (language), cloud computing, machine laearning ai block chain all of these are techincal skills and real life oriented chapters so as an it student i can cofirm that the courses are well structured. Though, most of the good things have in this course but other side in specially for 1st year we have mechanical workshop engineering drawing etc which i think should change this becuse these 2 subjects are mechanical oriented so in IT curriculam i think these 2 subjects aren't be so much effective

Though our college never provide internships m if anyone want to do internships then he/she must learn some skills based on current IT field and after that they have to applied for internships in company. Though our teacher gives some references from seniors(who already placed in a company) regarding internships.

We do have a Placement Cell at our institute campus, and it is quite active. Recently there has been a rapid growth in the Cell where 80% of the core branches students have successfully achieved placement of an average package of 5 LPA from renowned companies like tcs, Capgemini, wipro, Ibm,E&y and some startups.

Yes before 2024 total fee structure(for b.tech)was around 393000. But in the mid of 2024 heritage imcreased there fees for newcomer as well as for current batch so after that whose are currently in 2nd year they have to pay 528200 and those are now 1st year they have to pay around 576400 and for lateral the fees around 448650.(these all fees are excluding 1200(exam fee)and500(makaut registration one time).though, the college does not provide any scholarships or any facilities but if anyone gets into this college through wbjee/jee main exam and if the candidate applicable for tfw then they dont have to pay 60500 which is tution fee they only have to pay 9000(for development fess) and excluding(admision fee,library,sports fee(at the time of admission) +sem exam fee+makaut registartion fee(one time)

The campus life in Heritage Institute of Technology is quite soothing and friendly. I have managed to get good friends and seniors who have helped me in my career. The infrastructure and the atmosphere of the place make me come to the institute daily. There are various clubs present to participate actively. Events happen on a daily basis and are a great progress for the team.

I choose these college because these college scneario(in case of placments, sem exam , external curriculam) is good rather than other colleges and also fees of this quite affrodable than other private colleges in west bengal and thise things made me to join this college.For all the B.Tech degree branches, the eligibility is varying upon the wbjee and jee main ranks. Also, it depends on why you want that stream and what makes you feel to join that.and for lateral eligibility varying upon jelet rank. And also have Management Quota options to join these college.

For me most of the faculties are great and supportive and also help in giving notes for the exams along with the PYQs but some of the faculties are not that cooperative. And The academic background of the institute is good in respect to the examination pattern and the notes provided by the faculties. The syllabus is quite well-structured and is made easy for every student to score decent marks in the end semesters.

Theres no life out scenario in heritage institute of technology . Yes we have 3 canteens inside our campus (one of it main canteen , another one is labour canteen and another one is for academy students (bca,mca,bba,mba,bsc,msc).and also have only girls hostel inside heritage campus from 2023.due to some issues, the boys’ hostel has been closed, and one can avail a hostel nearby the campus named rk mondol hostel. The facility is quite good, and the charges are affordable from 72000 per year.
