What Students Say

Likes

The first thing I liked is that the faculty members are so friendly with their students.
The second thing I liked is that the teaching skills of the professors all the professors are IIT Graduate and they have a highly experienced.
The third thing I liked is that the playing sector our college have provided many sports types activities and it conducted regularly tournaments

Dislikes

taking regularly exams on frequent mood up
giving events very very rarely and not allowing student to do party.

Course Curriculum Overview

Autonomous university coincide with the AICT in terms of relevance and comprehensive it is a good college as that in terms of syllabus the chapters that are given or whcih are taught in class only that chapters will come in the exams.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 190000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of our University of Engineering Management Kolkata is 95000 per semester and all total its fees for Btech degree is 785000 along with it many scholarship it offers to the students for example Swami Viveka Nand Scholasrhip in which it provide yearly 60000 to the students and also student credit card .

Campus Life

my overall experience for this campus is that it provides with best quality of education along with high placements rates which helpful of the students along with it it has a massive infrastructure with a cleaniness of classroom which is provides hygiene facility to the students and it also organize clubs and many of th events.

Admission

I have choose this college over other college as because this college provides with best education along with a high grade of placement in this college along with teching and non teching facilites and providing varities of opportnities to the students for preparing for UPSC exams and many commercial facilities

Faculty

The faculty members of the college are very very good they all are very much friendly to the students and all the faculty members are IIT graduate. The course structure is that it is of 4 years course with 95000 per semester and 785000 as total for 4 years, the exam system is that in every semester there 3 exams be conducted one is term 1 , term 2 and end semester or 1 st semester and marking schemes is of 2 marks, 5 marks and 10 marks

Night Life

around my college there are many commercials tech building and offices and high societal complex along with it it has many food stores and hotels, restaurant and fruits shops also with it has gym street park near it for chill or enjoymnet of the students

Placement in our college is descent . Students typically become eligible for campus placement starting from the 5th Semester. For CSE/IT companies like TCS,CTS ,WIPRO, ACCENTURE etc... come for the placements. For Core branches like EE,ECE,ME Companies like L &T ,samsung, TATA Steel etc...come for offers. The highest package is around 8 to 10 LPA and the average is around 4 to 5 LPA. 70% to 80% of RCCIIT generally get placed across varios department. My plan is to persue MS from abroad/.

Students become eligible for campus placement starting from 6th semester ,meanwhile u can also get paid internship from 5th semester itself .The companies which visited the campus most frequently are Cognizant ,TCS ,Infosys ,IBM ,PwC ,BMC ,Tavisca ,Wipro ,Amazon .Tavisca provided over 12 LPA while BMC provided over 14 LPA ,meanwhile in 2024 ,a new record of highest package emerged which is of 21 LPA.The Average package is 480,000 rupee CTC .Over 80 to 90% of students are placed and the college has a very good alumni network which provides u with referrals and possible jobs.I plan to join a IT company after getting my degree

Good for placements, excellent hostel life and good to learn, apply and fun. A college for all round development.

Placement Experience:

Placement ratio of the college is very good, cadets start getting placements from 2nd year but majorly the mass placement process starts from 3rd year. The packages ranges from 400-1200 USD as an engine cadet. There are major companies such as CHEVRON, MSC, DYNAGAS, NYK, FLEET MANAGEMENT, PACIFIC BASIN, MOL, IOCL, ZODIAC MARITIME, TORM TANKERS, etc that visit the college for placements every year. For every batch the placement ratio is above 95%. This college is known for its placements and alumni network

I know Global institute of technology and management college where I started my Btech in mechanical engineering course is one of the great college in west Bengal for Btech but in these period during lock down causes of covid 19 our classes are not going very well. But although teachers are doing there best for teaching us all subjects and they also supporting us all the time. So I thik this will be a new experience with all of this. But one thing they always putting us pressure for submit money I mean fees from one month ago of the submission date of our fees. Nothing else just hoping for the best for future.

This is an autonomous college, Placement here is good and also I had some quite impressive reviews about this college.
