The course of my BA Hons Political science is very relevant to study the different issues and social debate which are going on in our society, country and in the world. It give a comprehensive knowledge about it and build the wider perspective to see the world in many eyes . The circular of my subject is very well structures to develop the academic knowledge as well as to develop and enhanced the skill of study in the term of developing the soft skill such that communication skil, digital marking and these things help student to achieve their goal and enhanced their knowledge in different way . Apart from this in our college we have different societies which really working for development of personality of students, which. Join the society. If we talk about the difficulty level of exam it would be little bit difficult, otherwise it medium level , to help students get atleast passing marks . These things from my perspective that i have noticed and find with different department students while having discussion .

Admission

The colleges which i applied for admission these were, Hondu college, kiroli mal college, ramjas college and hansraj college etc. Despite of this i was not able to get the admission in these college due to the low marks in my cuet examination. But at all i got admission offer from Sri Venkateshwara college of south campus. I got this college because of my cuet score card match with the cutoff of this college. I didn't get rejection from any others college. The admission process of my college is get good marks in cuet examination and You must done your 12th with any boards with having minimum marks about 50 percentage plus. You have one language that you have studied in your class 12th . And the most preferred course for students as per me Hons course, second would be programme course. And the cutoffs of Hons course is higher than the program courses and most of students wishes that they get admission for honor courses and for second option to program courses to get the admission in it .

The ratio of facilities in my college is good and the ratio of students is also good overall . I like many facilities the way they teach us and help in resolving the issues or problem in the term of academic to personal. Facilities are very cooperative , but not all. Some of facilities are rude in the term of strict with the bad students with their misbehaviour. I personally like my core paper facilities way of teaching one of Indian political thought's facility. For the exam it would differ for different students perspectives, in my perspectives exam would be little bit difficult not much , we can say the exam pattern is totally different from the board level exams . If i talk about the number of students pass in exam , maximum of students pass in exam only few student fail or i can say get less Glps . These thing from my side that's all.

I actually have a very keen interest in political science since my school years, that's why opted for this course. I don't think there are any improvements needed in teaching methods. The timing of exams according to the difficulty is appropriate in my opinion.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college offers a good mix of theory and real-life application, making it a good choice for anyone genuinely curious about how the human mind works. It also balances academics with hands-on experiences—students don’t just read about psychology in theory, they actually get to practice it through labs, experiments, internships, and field visits. Regular workshops, seminars, and presentations keep the learning process interactive and help build communication and analytical skills that are useful both inside and outside the classroom. Recently a resilience workshop was held by an alumni of MSCW, where we got deeper insights about how resilience can be built, how coping works and how some coping techniques can be bad for u.

My course does not allow direct placements right after graduation since a lot of students tend to pursue higher education, but the college does have a placement cell that brings in different opportunities like internships and placements. The average package is probably about 2.5 LPA with companies like Bajaj allianz but since it is an off campus college, this isn't bad either

Dyal Singh Placements aren't that hefty that I can boast a lot about them. Since I have already mentioned in previous section that I want the deepest knowledge of political science and the only way, one can gain that is by doing masters. Coming to DSC placements over 30% students of Political Science from our college are placed via campus.

Otherwise research or political expert roles are the only roles offered to Hindi Hons students. Since I want a complete command I will be doing masters in Hindi Hons.

For placements, there's not much on campus placement programs. Our placement cells are active though. Time to time they keep us posted about the upcoming internship or job opportunities and even invite various organisations for placements. You can even look for off campus placement programs and teachers are very helpful in this. They even offer letter of recommendation for the internship opportunities upon request.
