DSC is a decent college!

From local level politics to global level politics, in DU's Curriculum of Political Sciece. Internationl Relations, political system, and evrything related to politics is taught in our course. Our college also has some of the best faculties of Political Science and thus a tough course like Polirical Science looks easy.

Research professors and media houses like HT MEdia and others offers us placements. Also Niti Aayog placement portal is one way of applying for paid internship program. Internships stipend are based on the the roles offered as for miniscule roles, stipend of 6-8k is offered while for major internship roles, stipend as good as 20k is also offered.

DSC placements are not that great as around 30-40% students are placed and that is how it is here. Most students of Political Science go for higher studies or get job opportunities in political consultancy or journalism.

DSC or Dyal Singh College Political Science Program is one of the best and fees is also more than affordable. It's just a shade below 12000 per year and that has to be paid semester wise. For scholarship details one can check the national scholarship portal and check which all scholarships is he/she eligible for.

Our college library may be old but is upgraded with all the latest books and research materials. Classsrooms have been upgraded and i wish buildings too are. Basketball court, a cricket ground and a little damp but still a good enough Indoor sports area is fine to have some time at. Every year in April out college hosts a three day cultural fest called Priyadarshini.

CUET is the only way out here and college are not entirely in students hand. Depending on the CUET score students are alloted the colleges. My first choice wasnt DSC but as per the score and counselling i had to balance out with DSC.

Faculties of DSC are one of the most talented people around. They have spent years and years researching and therefore they have amazing knowledge of the subjects. Yes they are strict with attendance as without reason they dont give attendance clearance. I liked Mrs Nair the most as she has been teaching since last 3 decades and is the most experienced faculty of your college.

Our college nearby areas are Lajpat Nagar and South Extension. So AIIMS is also nearby and thus from commercial centres to scoializing places we have it all close to Dyal Singh College. Jawaharlal Nehru Metro Station is the closest metro station from our college.
