Course Curriculum Overview
I love coding so this inspires me to choose this course.In corporation life we need to know computer very well. In a specific language like C,C++, Java we need time to understand that and should delete some unnecessary subjects like EVS , biology etc. We have to give the semester exams in 4.5 months, it is too short time to prepare.
Internships Opportunities
Sister Nivedita University offers robust facilities for internship especially for engineering students. Google, Amazon, TCS, Cognigent, Godrej, Whirlpool etc company visits our college every year and offers internships.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Cognigent, Godrej, Whirlpool, Google, Amazon visited our Highest package is 45 lakh per annum and average is 5-9 lakh. I am planning about to work in a research institute.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise i am paying 166000 rupees for my course.Pet semester er have to pay 83000 in that 58100 is tution fee and 24900 is term fee.My batchmates also play same fees structure.There is Swami Vivekanand scholarship of 60000 rupees per year.
Campus Life
Annual function are sports , college birthday,and technical festival are different seminars on different topics. Students run social groups for dance , sing, football, basketball, criket and there are NCC also.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is very homely. Every room has attached bathroom and balcony. They have bus to travel from hostel to college and vice-versa. The food is also very good and during college time the lunch is served at college canteen for the hostel people.
Admission
I have applied Women's College in Burdwan for Math honours and get confirmed. Then I found affordable fees structure with this college of B.Tech Computer Science course. So I choose that over math honours.
Faculty
The faculties are very experienced and has strong academics.They treat us like their own children.They engage every student in class.Rhey handle complex topics very easily. They help us to take any difficult desicion.
Night Life
After college some time we stay there for gym , sports practice, library work. The hostel shut down at 8pm . From college we went Darjeeling and Rajasthan. The locality around the college and hostel is safe and comfortable at night.
