Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum for whole bachelors is outdated it has no use in IT industry as it is pure mathematics it should be combined with computing to make it to IT industry level. I you love to study pure mathematics then take it but remember employment opportunities are very less in pure mathematics

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 14500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual college fees is around 14500 which in total for 3 years cost around 43500 plus you have to pay 2000 exam fee per semester and for extra curricular you have to pay extra. There are scholarship on basis of merit cum need based so in total it's 56000 rs

Campus Life

Campus area is just 5 acres so what can you expect from campus life it's just pure academics nothing else. Infrastructure is very old. One good thing is library is descent it has 30000 books college has no social life

Admission

I applied to this college due to brand name of Delhi university but after coming I saw harsh reality no I didn't get rejections from any college you have to give CUET exam to get admission in any central university

Faculty

Course consists of 3 year / 4 years your choice whether you want research degree or not Faculty member don't teach well as they have to go to protests against delhi University administration. Simple in 1 year 2 semesters so 2 time exams + mid terms + practical assignments

Night Life

There are no hostels in Delhi University so you have to stay in PGs timings are preety tough after 10 pm you can't go outside so no night life can be expected but in daytime you can enjoy there are many gyms library cafetaria

Ignou: Flexibility And Disappointment

Placement Experience:

Placements in IGNOU are quite limited compared to regular universities. Since IGNOU is an open and distance learning university, it does not have a strong campus placement system like DU or private colleges. There is a Campus Placement Cell (CPC) that conducts job fairs and recruitment drives at some regional centers, but these are not very frequent and mostly depend on the location. Usually, students who are in their final year or have completed the course can apply, but there is no fixed semester rule since the system is flexible. The companies that visit are not very large in number and vary every year. Some private firms, NGOs, BPOs, insurance companies, and small IT firms have participated in the past. The roles are generally entry-level such as sales, customer support, data entry, insurance advisor, or junior IT support. There are very limited opportunities for core mathematics or research roles through placements. As far as packages are concerned, the average package is usually around ?2.5 LPA to ?4 LPA, but since IGNOU is an open university, it cannot be expected to have the same placement levels as regular colleges with full-time classes. Also, the percentage of students placed is very small because most IGNOU students are either working professionals, homemakers, or people preparing for competitive exams, so placements are not the main focus. Many students use the degree as a qualification while pursuing their own career path outside. I am currently in my 2nd year, so I do not have personal placement experience yet. The data I have mentioned here is based on internet sources and feedback from other IGNOU students. From what I have learned, placements exist but are very limited, and one should not rely only on them for career building.

Glorious last days of your life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course BSc honours physics is pretty good and it provides sufficient informations in theory classes and practical labs are maintain good and teachers are actively participate in the practicals with the students to teach them more about this course. The frequency of the timing is difficult I can say that because it has many theory classes and on everyday due to which the students can't focus on the subjects and regular activities other than main course.

ANDC= The most average old school type campus life

Good for science courses but infrastructure and surrounding area is not good

I got admission to this college through cuet. I only applied to colleges of DU. Rather than ANDC I applied to Hansraj college of Delhi University but I did not get admission because my marks did not clear the cut off score of that college as Hansraj college is of North campus and has high cut off score.
