Detailed review on TIET Thapar University

I choose B.E with specialisation of computer science and engieerning since i have intrest in computer and technologies , developing new skills and learning the backend of technologies and software which is also accociated with the real world application. In one sem there are only 3 type of exams(mst,est) conducted for a particular subject and one practical exam

The college offers lot of opportunity for student in intership to help student to get the industal experiences, where lots of companies come to college and select students provided handsome amount of stipends

The placement for this college are best , as this college offers a lot for opportunities for the student in various niches , with a good package , as per the market standards. The process and traning is so smooth from the college side that many students avail for the opportunity for the placements. There are alot of company who visit and selects students from this college

In was in this college from 2018 to 2022 for my bachelor degree in specialisation of computer science and engineering , At that time the semester wise fee for the acadmics was around 1.77lakhs and it use to increase by 10% every years , therefore in my last year of my gradution the fee was above 2lakhs , This college do have various scolarship such as the acadmic , category , women , and many more . For the hostel fee it was 70000 for entire year which incude ac hostel with very good and hygenic food in the mess.

The campus life is well balanced, having disciplne as well as equal enjoyement with lot of festivals and events with in the college campus. The classrooms are huge and good, the library is of 4 floors having a lots of book and wonderful enviorment.

The college provided facility for hostel, but few student don't want hostel it is up to his/her choose, the hostel facility is not mendatory for all, since some students use to live nears the college in PG's, Coming to hostels, this college comes with very good, spacious, clean , beautiful hostels, having all the nessary facility within it suchas mess, gym,playing area, etc

Compared to another college this college have a disciplined enviorement which is safe for students. This college is old and have very good faculty , also provides higher chances for the placement with good package as compared with other colleges. The cutoff the the B.E in computer is aver 95 percentile in jee mains and getting addmission in this college is bit tough for the average student

The teahers are like a friends in this college all the teachers comes with 20+ exp in there field, in one class this is one teachers and around 50-60 students. The exam system is also well designed with have mst's and est's, mst stand for mid sem test and est stands for end sem test , to clear one sem student need to pass both mst and est , mst are mainly of 20 marks only have written exam, whereas in the est it is to 80-100 marks which also incude some percentage of practical skills.The level for the exams conducted with moderate which is not to easy and not to hard

This college have good nightlife there are having gounds open, gym , library , snacks shops and canteen open , students are engaging also there are few event with take place in night. This college have great nightlife
