Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was quite vast but modern also. Teachers were at par with the industry level syllabus. The syllabus was designed and revamped time to time with the current standards. Helps from alumnus in restructing the syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
Insternships were made available via our TPO. Lists were shared from which one can avail internships. Internshala, IBM and other few training institutes were listed. Most of them were like institutions we had to pay to get the expertise. No stipend based cases.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester onwards, a student will become eligible for placements but before that in 6th semester, student has to do training and internships. In our time companies were hardly visited due to recession, however by the end of placement season 1 year later, my branch had 80%-85% placement. Highest from my branch was 11LPA and overall it was 12.
Fees and Financial Aid
It was 90000-95000/- per year. Caution fees was 10000/- , development fees and registration fees adding up to 20000/-. Domicile students got waive off. Their fees waived by 50% ormore depending on what achievements in other feilds.
Campus Life
Fests were absent in this college. However accessing books and journals were easy Facility anf technology withing classrooms is good with every classroom had projectors. In sports, every year by February or March one week of sports-week is their. Talking about clubs and students portals, all re very active here.
Admission
I was able to make into this college via WBJEE 2020 exam. It was my first attempt. I got at first AOT-CSE afterwards I got Heritage. From the sources and seniors I got positive reviews and gone for it. College admission process is simple. JEE scores, WBJEE scores and via management. Reservation for domicile students is also present.
Faculty
The ratio faculty to student was 1:50. Relationship with teachers were absolutely good and they were easily approachable. I was from ECE department and most of the teachers were domain master. In practicals also technical assistance were supportive. Exams were offline. 70 marks theory with attendance, practical scores and mid sems do the rest markings.
Night Life
Nighlife in this college is quite good. During hackathons, students had stayed in college for entire day. During night, the place drools with calmness. Hostellers hang out during night around campus with no restrictions. However hostel timings were 7-8 pm closing off.
