My review on CIT

The scope of this course inspired me to take this course and also i had both curiosity and intrest in learning machine learning and also the curriculum was also a perfect match with my intrest.The curiculum starts from the basics of programming to the advanced level which will coincide with the real world applications.I think there are no area to improve in the curriculum but in teachong methods faculty might find some new ways to keep students engaged in the subjects.The timings of the exam are 2.5 hours which is not enough for some theory exams like statistics and theory of programming.

The main reason i took this course is their intenships.There are 2 internships provided during the course one in 7th sem and other one in 10th sem.The stipend ranges from a minimum of 10000rs to maximum of 50000rs according to our skills.

For my course students are eligible for placements in the 7th sem and 10th sem.Companies like DELOITTE and EY have visited our college.The highest package is 7LPA and the average package is 4LPA.In my course there are about 93% of the students get placed with a decent LPA.My plan after the degree is to take any jobs which contribute to ML systems.

As an average a yearly fee is approximately 1.5lakh.There are 2 semesters a year so per semester it will be 80-85k(approx) .Admission fees is 4200rs ,tution fees is 35000for first 4(8 sem) years and for the final year 30000 , development fees is 7200rs , caution deposit fees is 1000rs , library fees is 2000rs and other compulsory fees include maitenance fees which is 8500rs , off college hour service which is 12290rs. There are no fees deduction for categories like SC, ST, MANAGEMENT.There are 4 courses in Msc and all the courses provided same kind of fees.There are no scholarship provided by institution for this course but you can apply external scholarship.

The only technical festival that are held in our college is HACHATHON where every student from every department takes part and show their talents.There are some cutural programs takes place 3 times every 6 months.There are over 125000 books with every topics so that students can gain knowledge not only in their field but also other fields.As i said college offers equal importance to both sports and academics which should be mandatory in every colleges.There are more than 20+ clubs in my college which include academics and fun related.

I applied to colleges like PSG and AMRITA but i couldn't clear the entrance exam.People who are writing these exams should first acknowledge the portions from the institution itself which will be helpful.The admission process in my college will start from your 12th result only if you have over 75% in the main subject you can apply into this college.Then ypu have to write the exam and if you score well you will be called for an interview and you will get a call if you clear those interviews.write every entrace exams which you are aware of and you might get an idea of thise exams.

The faculty members are easy to be approached and they are very friendly with everyone.There are 2 teachers for every 60 students to take care the problems which is of any kind.I personally liked HEMASHREE mam who is also my tutor,she is very sweet person and take all efforts so that the students are able to clear the exam easily and also SUDHA mam who is our python teacher who is also friendly and sweet.I don't like SANGEETHA mam who is our statistics teacher the reason is she just reads from the book and only explains in rare cases i also don't like her teaching method.There are a total of 9 exams where 4 are practical exams and 5 are written exams.Everyone passes in their practical exams except one or two,while in theory exam 4 in 10 persons fail.

The first stone to cross is written test which includes maths,aptitude and logical reasoning where students can use websites like INDIABIX to learn.Next is the interviews there are 2 interviews at the same day which will be easy ,they only ask from topics which you is easy to you.The portal for application procces starts after the 12th results and you can apply online.I used wbsite called INDIABIX and for maths i learned from my 12th book.
