Likes

We have equal ratio of girls and boys in our department.
In our batch we had good placement and our college ensured it as well.
Course outcome is very much perfectly drafted.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not that good to be appreciated.
The transportation should be improved further.
The encouragement for co- curricular activity is lacking.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very much perfectly drafted and very much up to date with the technology. We had two internal exams that comes with the interval of 2months approximately and has required level of toughness

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th semester we are eligible for placements. We had around 300+ companies visited our college for placement. And almost we have everybody from our cse dept got placed who are free from arrears. Highest package is 40lps and average package is 8 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

As I have taken aided cource, i have paid 25000 per annum. I have no other fees except the exam fee that comes around 2000, and mess fees of 3200 per month. If they belong to SC category or a first graduate they are free from paying tution fees.

Campus Life

We don't have much of the festival and celebration kind of things happening in the college. We can't at all expect any sort of celebrations. Library is completely accessible and has all sort of required books. Technological provisions within the classroom is not upto mark. Co curricular activities is not encouraged to a greater extend

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms for girls is really comfortable to the required extend and it is not sophisticated. Provided with necessary facilities. Meal is fine and has very good balance with diet. It cost around 40000 per annum for hostel and 3200 per month for mess

Admission

I have applied for few more college in the TNEA councelling. And this is my second college in the list and got this. As CIT has very good education and placement I choose this college. I don't find they accept any exams for admission.

Faculty

The ratio of the staff is not sufficient enough for the number of students available. The course outcome is perfectly drafted and very much to the point. Has excellent education feeded. Exams were conducted in very much loyal manner and has required level of toughness.

Night Life

We have gym and cafeterias available almost anytime that is permitted for the students. And library is also available online. For girls hostel we have 4pm to 8pm outing time on weekdays and on weekends we have 9am to 8pm. CIT infrastructure is not really good.

Detailed review of Sathyabama University

Placement Experience:

top tech companies will come to our campus for replacement some of them are Amazon, JP Morgan, TCS, cognizant according to our skill level, they will choose before applying for any company. And the average placement they offer is 7-10 LPA. You should pass some exams in our college, which is held by our placement cell, so those are pretty much annoying nearly 10 exams they will put just for applying for each company.

Good college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculums are good (it depends on depts) and they are updated and new electives/ cbcs are added thus updating curriculum and there are subject with heavy lab which don't have end sem instead lab and only internal which is not what other colleges have. they also have open book test for subjcts like programming languge so students can focus on learning the language instaed of memorizing. however as we are batch of a new regulation we are not aware of kind of questions that would come. however forthcoming batches won't be having this issue. unlike other collges only 2 internal exams and 1 semester is conducted. both the internal is given equal weightage ( having unit 1&2 and 3&4 for each exams) and retest is also conducted for internal however even if one exam not written they need to write all 4 unit incase of health issues etc. 50% internal and 50% external. so if having good internal can easlity score well in total. However if one fails to secure internal then passing the subject becomes very hard. Core subjects however prepares well for real-world. however i feel curriculums should be slightly revised so that students learn everyhting systematically instead of memorizing. Good internships

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, if you have required skill sets you can go for internships and placements. There are more than 600 companies that include Tata, Mahindra, Google, Deloitte and many more. Highest package was of 1.2 crores and average package is 8 -9 lakhs. I don't have the exact statistical data but yaa more than 70% students get placed. I am looking for a high pay job after getting the degree

MY COLLEYE LIFE

Placement Experience:

They start conducting interviews after completing the 6th semester. At least 6 companies come for the campus placement like tech Mahendra, TCS, and manufacturing companies like sakthi auto-complete, tata motors, etc. They placed a minimum of 150000 per aum. The percentage of students getting placements is 30%. Get a job in a reputed company.

Last year Closing rank cut off in TNEA was around 1300 for B E CSE Also this is the 2nd rank S tier College.
