- Ask anything any doubt about college nd placements,In college there is campus hiring and in my branch if you did study and your CGPA is above 8 or 8.5 there is higher chance you will a good placement of package around 4.5 lakhs to 10 LPA accordingly
Dislikes
- The very first and common thing I don't like about is there is no scholarship for people outside of West Bengal and college also don't show much interest about it,and college has also increased the fees around 1.6 lakh and that is quite high for sure
- And the second big problem here is language barriers means if you are non Bengali,You will suffer alot due to Hindi and Bengali people Don't know why don't like talking in hindi and that make hard to communicate with them so it's kinda a limit for u.
- And there is very few internship opportunities means it's hard to get paid internship from college They do encourage you but don't provide any kind of support for that so you have to do it by urself and also there is no placement practice things here
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course because of my interest in robotics and sensors and instrumentations, the curriculum of the college teachers you most of the things about industrial work and how things work in instrument field there is a lot of seminar and exhibition to acknowledge how things work in this field, the teaching speed is quite fast you have to be a fast learner to learn everything because syllabus complete so fast you have to match with it, so my suggestion is teacher have to understand not every student can have same sparkle and needed must go a little bit slower for understanding of every student, the frequency and and timing of exam is quite fast means you don't get time to understand the whole syllabus and the next semester exam comes up and in between of that there is a lot of surprise test and mid sem and lab exam viva all of this things comes through so you just be in hurry complete the syllabus and give the semester exam and that's makes a little difficult first students to understand what they are actually learning it should be a little slower or to give extra time in between of every semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
Addmission fees is 72000-75000.After that every semester you have to 45000-48000 that's make total amount of 4 lakh but now with new fee structure students have to pay 72000-75000 every semester which makes a total of 5.6 lakh to 6 lakh in between and no scholarship is there for students.
Campus Life
There are a lot of events and annual festivals in the college but there is no fest happened in college after lock down The library is quite big and there is a digital library also and libraries also centralised AC and you can have access of so many books
Admission
I have also applied in other states college like satyabhama of Chennai by giving the entrance and JEE mains for NIT and IIT and I have also give the webjee exam my score is quite good and and I have chosen this college over other colleges because of its number one college in the West Bengal and it have quite good campus comparison to others West Bengal colleges. My JEE score was not that good and my webjee score is quiet good so I prefer the college that is best comes with my score. You have to score good marks in entrance exam to get admission in heritage the eligibility to get enter in college is more than 60% in class 12 and below 7000 rank to get good branch in the college.
Faculty
The faculty and student ratio as quite good means you will get a teacher who is good in particular topics of any subject, faculty faculties are good in nature and most of the time they are so humble you can feel free to ask any question and they will answer you every time you ask them in the very beginning of the class they told you if you feel free and ask any doubts. I would like to take the name of any faculty but in my experience I have seen every teacher I met in the college and in class nobody ever being any kind of insensitive or rude towards anyone they all understand what is student is feeling and ready to help them with humble, there is no faculty in the college you will find who is not good I mean there is no chance to hate or dislike any teacher in the college they have a lot of experience of handling students and they do it quite well, so we have 8 semester exams and in each semester there is one mid sem of 20 marks and 2 surprise test of 10 marks, exams are not that hard if you attended the class and have notes which we also provided by the teachers you can clear the exam with good marks, the ratio of students were fail exam is quite less most of the student pass the exam and some are fail they do also get pass in back paper.the course curriculum is quiet relevant and you will understand what they are absolute teaching.
