Course Curriculum Overview

Courses such as quantum physics, solid state devices, network analysis, control theory, communication systems,etc. are some of the most interesting courses in ECE. Internal exams are conducted quite frequently to assess the performance of the students.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 107000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The caution fee is of rs. 10000 for both hostel and tuition Hostel fee AC: 28000 rs Non AC :18000 Mess fee ( to be paid each month ) 3800 as per Oct 2024 updated mess fee A number scholarships are provided for SC ST students.

Campus Life

There are 2 major cultural programs in the college every year . Tehrea are various clubs in th college which include: Alphaz - literature club Cultural club Altius- sports club Upvision Tech club Google students developer club

Admission

I attempted JEE to get into NIT Delhi. Though NIT Delhi wasn't my first choice, my cut off wasn't enough to get me into other top tier colleges. Since the strength of the students in each class is less compared to other NITs we are given much more attention by our professors.

Faculty

Faculties are approachable There are two exams mainly per semester: Mid semester and end semester. Very few students tend to fail the exams but tend to make up to it during the make up examinations The Mid Sem exams are conducted in the month of October for autumn semester and in the month of March for the spring semester.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

Review about my first individual decision in life (NIT Delhi)

I got 99.31 percentile in JEE MAIN 2024 and 118 marks in JEE ADVANCED 2024 . Being a general category student, it is difficult for me to get into any of the IIT in a good branch( the same year there is an abrupt hike in cutoff marks nearly 20-30 marks than previous year) So I decided to get into NIT with a good branch rather than other courses that Im getting in new IITs Now my best available options are EEE in NIT warangal, ECE in NIT Calicut and ECE or CSE in NIT kurukshetra/ Delhi I was pssionate in choosing ECE branch as I was keen on learning about chips, and semiconductor devices and their wide applicability. So either I can to Calicut, kurukshetra or Delhi. I have choosen Delhi over the others as it is a capital city and there is a high exposure to industries. Calicut nd kurukshetra also offers a good and those are old NITs, but it is a bit difficult even for transportation and even flight charges are so high for Calicut from my home town (VSKP). So keeping all these things in mind I choose NIT Delhi ECE The admission into NIT Delhi is only though JEE MAINS, so score well minimum 99+ percentile to get a decent branch in NIT Delhi(for a general category student)...Read More
