Course Curriculum Overview

3

Curriculum's relevance is a little bit not up to the mark. We are being taught useless things of the past and we are being taught the same things again and again. Instead of this we could be taught about some recent advances in technology that too in detail

Internships Opportunities

2

In the case of internship opportunities, there are lots of internships being organised in the summer by our college to help the students gain experience as well as some skills which can be useful for them

Placement Experience

3

Students become eligible for placements in last year and internships in the penultimate year. A lot of companies such as Google microsoft , phone pe , airtel, tech Mahindra have already visited the college and more companies are coming

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is increasing by 2 thousand every year, it includes tuition fees of around 80000 and hostel fees of 28000 and mess fees of around 18000. They take mess fees in advanced instead of taking it monthly

Campus Life

3

We have tech club, photography, think india, robotics and cultural club. Our sports club is named altius. We have 2 cultural feats in a year and also other activities presented by the cultural club. We have a sports fest in February and also we have a photowalk by the photography club

Hostel Facilities

3

We are given tables chairs, beds and in Dhauladhar hostel, 2 rooms share 1 bathroom, in the new hostel we have a common bathroom for a whole floor. In yamuna hostel it is similar to Dhauladhar hostel.

Admission

I applied for other IITs as well of course I my rank wasn't that high that I could apply for that and also I applied for IIST and other GFTIs as well as well as other NITs but I couldn't get them due to alower rank but I left PEC CSE for NITD ECE

Faculty

3

Student to faculty ratio is 250:15 which is not that good. I really liked Anuj sir for physics and jyoteesh sir for electronics also NSS for signals and systems. There is 1 mid semester and 1 end semester exams and they are easy to pass

Night Life

1

No night life. No one is allowed outside hostels after 10 pm. You can only go outside for orders and things like that but else you can't go outside at all and there are no amenities of enjoyment inside the hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
