- DDUC is one of the leading colleges of DDUC and the reason for that is the kind of placements that it provides.
- Teh campus doesn't just have one of the finest lush green landscapes but is also among those rare DDUC that has its own hostels too.
- Ragging is not just sparse but something which won't be witnessed at all as the college has no tolerance policy against ragging or racism for that matter.
Dislikes
- The colleges location is like far from both North and South campuses and therefore there are no other colleges around.
Course Curriculum Overview
BMS or the bachelor of management studies is the newest edition in DU and has already become the most demanding course. Not much options in UG programs for students who wants to pursue management studies. BMS have therefore brought a ray of hope for such studnets. From accounting to business case studies, our syllabus covers it all.
Placement Experience
Management students gets the best paid jobs at DDUC. Bain Capital and other consulting firms like DE Shaw, Black Rock and others are top partners of college. Students of BMS have managed to get placements worth 15-20 lakhs but average is half of it as placements percentage is 60 percent or nearby that.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fees is 12450 as I am under SC category and my friends of general category has to pay 35000 plus. All the students who do well at the University exams and pass with distinction are eligible for Shri Ghasiram Mittal Memorial Scholarship and through that a scholarship of INR 4000 is awarded to them.
Campus Life
Well, a lush green campus that has an entire Ganes Complex. Gymkhana was added in recent years with a gym and rooms for aerobics, zumba and yogas. Science lab of DDUC us best among DU colleges. So on academic front, the college has done exceedingly well but annual fest Kalrav too have failed to garner attration that the rest of colleges like the Hindu College of SRCC college garners.
Admission
BMS is not offered by all the colleges of DU and from the colleges that offers SRCC was my first option and then Hansraj and finally DDUC. Cut-offs for SC category students at CUET for BMS was 640 for SRCC and 625 for Hansraj. At DDUC, it was 600 and I had a score close to that. Hence, I took admissions here.
Faculty
It's difficult to count the ratio but like every semester we have 7 subjects and each subject has one permanent faculty and one associate faculty. Faculties are a novelty here as all have many researches done on management. Most of them have worked as a managers or consulants in big finance companies. So, they give us practical application of everything that is mentioned in books.
