Likes
- No outsiders can enter our campus and that's the reason why Hindu College has not seen bouts which are otherwise quite common in DU colleges.
- The admin here is so friendly with the students and never make any judgement calls.
- Arguably one of the most tidiest campuses among North Campus colleges of DU.
Dislikes
- Too strict attendance and if by chance you couldn't meet the minimum criteria, you will be barred from writing the exams.
Course Curriculum Overview
Hindu College of for that matter DU as a whole can never go wrong. The syllabus is changed every two years and this is why old notes don't work here. If change is the new anthem then it's the Hindu college or DU that adapts first. I have referred books of other universities for the same courelse and they are nowhere close to us.
Placement Experience
Placements are obviously the reason that why does Hindu College ranks so high. For economics students it's the finance sector companies and mostly NBFC's these days are the ones who gives maximum jobs. Muthoot finance to Aditya Birla Capital, we have over 30-40 institutions offering jobs to economic students.
Fees and Financial Aid
I became a laughing stock among my friends as when I told them that my fees is just 26000 or near by. DU, is the best university when it comes to affordability and even though after such a petty fees, SC/ST studnlents are given a fair amount of discount.
Campus Life
Annual fest always creates hype and one fest that create hype not just in North Campus but all across Delhi and NCR. The campus has a vibrant and decorated garden at the front. On the left of it is our colleges refreshment centre. Exactly opposite to our gate is the St. Stephens College. Vishwavidyalaya Metro station is just a mile away.
Admission
Why would I apply for any other college when we have a world class college in Hindu College. I was targetting that through CUET, and I made it. Not just me but my knowns and others in my circle too were proud of the fact that I made it. You have to appear for CUET and each college has their cut off list out in June. In all one can wait for three lists and then the final admissions are done.
Faculty
Shalini Madam is my favourite and so is Mishra sir and it's privileged to be studying under their guidance. There's no faculty whom I don't like so can't name any. Their caring nature and strict attitude do takes a lot of toll from us but it's in win situation for us, so excuse students for complaining.
