- The canteen food keeps switiching its taste from really good to barely average and that sometimes frustates everyone
Course Curriculum Overview
Before pursuing a master's I wanted to know more about the business world and then choose my specialization. We are well-versed with case studies, and real-life projects and discuss what's happening in the business world to stay updated. The exams are held semester-wise, i.e., twice a year.
Internships Opportunities
The college does provide internship opportunities but at least 75% of the students prefer off-campus search for better opportunities. The off-campus internships have been done in companies like EY, Viega, Zomato, OYO, Jio, Airtel, etc. Some students also prefer to write research paper with faculty during the breaks.
Placement Experience
I would say that the placement for college as a whole is good but there is still room for improvement for both BMS and BBA(FIA). The students become eligible once they enter the 5th semester with placement talks being held regularly. I am not sure about the number of offers made but we had firms like TCS, DeltaX, and Preferred Square onboard.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for my course vary from 21,000/year to 23,000/year. The semester exam fees in additional depending on your subjects chosen. The fees have not increased from 23,000 till now and are not expected anytime soon.
Campus Life
We have a nice amphitheater that we like to sit and chill at in between or after classes. Starting in October all the departments have their annual fest with the college annual fest being hosted at the last. The club/society involvement depends on individuals, some wanting real experience and some doing it just for the sake of a certificate. We have a well-furnished library with a fantastic stock of books. The library has 3 floors with each floor with its own lab.
Admission
Everyone wants the Delhi University tag and I had the opportunity to get admission to other good colleges too but the return on investment was better over here than compared to other private universities.
Faculty
The exam happens semester-wise with no midterms, but we do have internal and external exams as well as continuous assessments of you in class. We are given practical projects, and it may be frustrating in the starting as you can't clearly understand about are the actual expectations but soon you get well versed. The faculty is very supportive and very knowledgeable about their fields. Easy to talk and discuss issues.
