Remarks

Our college was outstanding. In every aspect, our college performs well. you can take sports or music or studies Ashutosh college is one of the best colleges in Kolkata. It was established in the honor of Sir Ashutosh Mukherjee.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was quite nice. Before the final exam, there was a midterm exam in the month of December. My course duration was three years. overall I had to give exams in 1400 marks (both honors + pass paper). I did my graduation from the CU.

Placement Experience

No, our college does not provide internship.sometimes it does actually but it was not frequent.on the other hand job opportunities are same as general stream candidates have. And we dont have stipend by personally I got some scholarship for my course.

College Events

There are numerous events which are celebrated in our college. From the beginning I am telling which events I had witnessed..in the month of June, we had freshers from the department. Then we had fest from our college at najrul manch.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is not expensive at all. though some of our streams were expensive like the department of microbiology.overall it was quite feasible.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activity was good. our lab's common room etc are highly beneficial and well decorated. students can participate in different games in our common room. I and my friends used to play carrom a lot.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are very helpful. if students need help they are always there for students.

Faculty of Ashutosh college was brilliant. Almost 38 departments are there. And in our stream which was zoology we had 9 professors.they are well trained as friendly as well. I have nice experience in my academic career under my professors.

A tinge of light in a dark night

Remarks:

One can get proper education to build a great life in all aspects in this college. In this 21st century, this college still believes the 'Upanisad' method for students, and also tries to implement that, which I think helpful for a student in their future life. 'A greeny surroundings with a spiritual atmosphere' is line probably explains our college best.

Remarks:

Overall, the college is good in academic and non acadmeic aspects. There a lot of good and effective systems in college management which are always open to improvements, however kharagpur as a place is not very well connected.
