Students can get benefits of svmcm, nsp, inspire, and sitaram jindal scholarships.
I like faculty because the teachers are very good and very helpful.
Campus life is just great there is a very much unity amount all the people and the colleges actually great and its very much united it's very strongly united which is the best thing ever.

Dislikes

There was not any dislike thing , but one thing i am not satisfied is about the canteen , the canteen food was not quite good
This college is in road side, so vechicles violence is there
The toilets are very dirty and lack of sanitary is observed

Complete college review

Likes

There are lots of event in the college where you can participate and learn skills from
The faculty is good as well as the labs we work in..
There are sports events as well as internship events in our collges

Dislikes

Abit of government groups are included that might cause bit of trouble if you get involved in it
Lifts should be allowed for students as some of our classes are placed in 4th floor
The canteen is in the 5th floor..that is actually so energy comsuming

There are compulsory internships where we can actually learn about the works we are about to do in the future..they tend to make us ready and give us a heads up..there are even different events with helps in varies ways as well

I like my college faculty members, friends,, stuffs
I like my college library, play ground. Balcony
I like common room of my college, festival, program

Dislikes

I dislike my college distance, Which is far from my house.
They don't allow us to use the elevator for college students.
Our college canteen room is very very dirty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love computer science so I chose this department. The teaching in this department is very good and the labs are also very good. We have many exams in our semester.It would have been better if we had studied our theory paper a little better. And it would have been better if we had studied Android app development a little better.

Coolest College Asutosh

Likes

I like my professors they're very helpful and good teachers but my college campus needs improvement.
I'm having a good engagement with my college mates and I'm quite popular in my department I have quite a lot of social interaction.
I love how my teachers are really good at making us understand and guide us all the time college feels like school not college I love that.

Dislikes

I don't like my campus they don't have any open space
There's a lot of smoking areas inside the campus and people doesn't follow the rules.
The canteen ain't that good they even gave me rotten food.

I love geography since childhood and I scored the highest in boards so I chose it plus my college has the best geography department in the whole of Kolkata and has the best lab too everyone wants to joing geography in our college getting in here feels great this curriculum prepares us very well for outside or real world by giving us ideas on what to do in future they can improve the department with more frequent classes we have 3 class test exams every semester

In Depth Asutosh College

Likes

A spacious auditorium for lectures and events.
The Mass Communication faculty is really nice.
Cultural and Sports festivals are a plus point.

Dislikes

The classrooms are kind of really small.
The food in the canteen there, is really bad.
There could be better digital technology used.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From my childhood, I'm into music and this course allows me to further widen my knowledge of the entertainment industry, films, Television and etc. So this course will allow me to understand how media and journalism world works, and help me pursue the art that I love. The timings could be better of the college, but rather than that everything is mostly good. The frequency in my opinion, should be reduced to 3 main semester exams, and to have small mid semester exams throughout. That's my perspective.

A good college life

I like that our classroom has AC and a different lab room is made , there is 2 classroom of our department . Teachers support us and some of them even provides notes during exam timing, They also suggest us different internship opportunities

Dislikes

cons are some oc them , they dont take proper classes and that to do not inform us before as many of us travel from far away .

Whatever degree you take do not keep hope flr ypur college teachers , please have a tutor as professors will not always be helpful but there are 2-3 professors who helped us even if its at midnight so i really feel that college department is trying to help buy still you should have someone to tutor you

A memorable time to remember

The faculty of Asutosh College is really great. They teach us each and every topic thoroughly. Student and teacher interactions happens everytime when students is in trouble
The extra curriculum activities for is college is also good. APL, ASL, fresher programs, blood donation camp and many more occurs.
Fees structure of this college is also affordable so it will be a plus sign for the students as well as the location of the college which is in the Hazra more.

Dislikes

Few Classroom are over crowed therefore it cause problem for few teachers to Focus on each and every student separately.
Due to a lot of assignments and project during exams... students feel a bit pressurised
Mathematics dpt is in the 6th floor so college authorities must allow students to use lift for the 6th floor.

I choose this course because I used to like maths from childhood and I alway wanted to pursue Mathematics hons. U have to be good and do hardwork to overcome this course. After doing mathematics hons there will be huge options infront of you cause for mathematics hons students there are large numbers of options. Like you can give govt jobs, can go masters or whatever. The exam time of 65 marks is 3hrs

It offers an opportunity to meet a diverse range of people , which helps in building connection and expanding perspectives.
The chance to engage in various extracurricular activities like clubs and sports,allow me to explore personal interests outside of academics
College provides access to a wealth of resources,such as libraries, labs which help in enhancing learning

Dislikes

The pressure to maintain a good score is very much stressful specially when trying to balance assignment, exam and personal life
Another downside is the cost of tuition and other fees. Even with scholarship and financial aid, the financial burden can still be significant.
The large class size can also make it hard to get individual attention from professors

Actually I was really good in mathematics since class 10 and I really want to know this subject in deep .That's why I chose this course. Mathematics is everything. It is the basic thing in any other field . The topics like differentiation, integration, permutation, combination are very much related to technical field

Nice College

Likes

I really like the environment and the senior junior interaction
The faculties are really nice and helpful and behaves loke family
The college really helped me for being more social to each and everyone it really made my communication skills better

Dislikes

The washroom remains very unhygienic and the staff doesn't clean it well
The college is in road side which makes it very noisy and focusing on lectures become really tough
There are lift available but not for students which make it really difficult

Its quite good course for future purposes and you can do bba thing here its quite good college here you gonna love it and the teachers are also nice and good friendly in behaviour you should ashutosh for bba

My own experience

Likes

The annex building is really nice and the seniors as well as unions heads are nice 😊
The classroom in the annex building ( our building) are nice but they are too smalll
The campus is not thay big but everyone from the department treats each other very nicely and the girls and boys ratio is 60:40 60% boys 40% girls

Dislikes

The main building stays dirty no one cleans the college and the annex building library is very ill treated
The professor are quiet arrogant and doesn’t care about the students also they always maintain a good distance and doesn’t help in any of the study related stuff also they just read and go out from the class
The classrooms are very small without ac which makes it difficult during the summers

I want to pursue neet but as a side course i joined this college and did microbiology which will help me during my mbbs too Till now I didn't see real life applications because I dont usually go to college like that But the professor should be more engaging in the class and change soke teaching methods My first semester exam is in feb and my classes started at sept so basically they are taking exams in 5 months and a semester is suppose to be 6 month and exam difficulties level depend on cu paper

The thing which i like the most is the teaching of our professors
The campus area is very large with all the flexibility
Our campus also have gym facility and multiple cultural events

Dislikes

The party politics environment around it ... the union strength in college
The infrastructure is old need to be updated
The workers should act more polite in the college

Placement Experience:

After getting passed in the recruitment of càmpus and getting fare marks in sem 6 exm. The student get eligibled for the campus placement Several companies like tata aditya Birla reliance comes for the campus recruitment amd they chooose which will be selected After my degree i have my plans to recruited for the defence after giving certain exms.
