Students can get benefits of svmcm, nsp, inspire, and sitaram jindal scholarships.
I like faculty because the teachers are very good and very helpful.
Campus life is just great there is a very much unity amount all the people and the colleges actually great and its very much united it's very strongly united which is the best thing ever.

Dislikes

There was not any dislike thing , but one thing i am not satisfied is about the canteen , the canteen food was not quite good
This college is in road side, so vechicles violence is there
The toilets are very dirty and lack of sanitary is observed

Details about Asutosh College ug

Likes

This college have good library for all subjects and a common library , many books are available
The professors are very good and helpful ,
The fees is very minimal , affordable for all type of students

Dislikes

The union is very strong in this college which can bother study
Office staffs are very rude , you rarely get help from them

The practical rooms , instruments availablity and the efficiency of the professors helped me in this course, professors are very helpful , I would say the number of classes should be increased other wise I would say this college is one of the best college for bsc geography honours

Asutosh: The Tale

Likes

The faculty members of BBA Department are very helpful and understanding.
Even the non-teaching stuffs are helpful
The computer lab is apt for doing the projects.

Dislikes

The college is mote into politics rather than focusing in studies
There are few super seniors who still remain in the college
The politics matter hampers the mental health of many students in many ways

Course Curriculum Overview:

The business management aspects of the course that influenced my decision to choose this course. The college hosts orientation and events ehich prepare us for real corporate life. Online method of teaching can be improved.

ASUTOSH- the reality

Likes

The professors are very reactive and helpful
The workload and study load is very balanced
We get a lot of holidays throughout the year

Dislikes

The infrastructure (washroom) are very dirty
Lack of hygiene in college campuses and main building

The business acumen in my course is the main reason for which i choose this course Several orientations and trials take place which helps in giving a broad idea of the real world There can be some improvements in the online methods of teaching

Some facts about Asutosh college

Likes

I liked the location of this college as it is at Hazra more.
I liked the infrastructure of this college.
I liked the environment also because it’s too much student friendly.

Dislikes

I disliked the college politics as I am a apolitical person.
There is no such security who can resist common person from entering college.
I can’t say I dislike the faculties but the number of faculties should be increased.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I love to do maths from childhood. Bsc mathematics honours is really tough but it can prepare your future self. The frequency of exams in this course is high and difficulty level is also too high.

Affordable and Average College

Likes

Friendly faculty is one of the most liked factor of the department.
Helpful admin staff of the department makes work easier
Classes are clean and very proffesional.

Dislikes

As a govt college the office staffs are very lazy.
There is as such no scope of placements.
No industrial visits or exposure is given.

Course curriculum is relevent but the exposure to the industry should be given also placement opportunity should be given. The exams are difficult and it happens every six months. Teaching methods can be bit improved as it is only bookish, some practical knowledge should be added.

Life at Asutosh Mookherjee college as a freshman

Likes

Even after being a government aided institution, regular classes and attendance take place. Sometimes when any professor is busy, or couldn't attend the class, the college inform us from before hand so that no student faces any harrassment.
All professors at Asutosh Mookherjee college are very much approached and they conduct classes very seriously and explains lucidly.
The college is located on the heart of South Kolkata which makes it easier for transportation. The college is situated just beside Jatin das park metro station Gate number 2. Bus routes are also available which drops you just in front of the College.

Dislikes

I'm disappointed with the political climate at Asutosh College but unfortunately it is prevalent in almost every govt aided colleges in West Bengal.
Asutosh College faces challenges due to it's urban setting and lacks a green campus.
The Asutosh College's hostel is located approximately one hour away from the main campus which is quite problematic for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Updating outdated syllabus and provide critical problem solving abilities based questions could be of great help. Calcutta University provides 3 hours for 3 questions which is of 15 marks each and I think it's quiet justified. Asutosh Mookherjee college provides internships on 2nd, 4th, 6th and final year and hands on hands training and workshops which is very useful in today's world. The University also provides research opportunities for students with or above 8 CGPA and so does Asutosh Mookherjee college. From the very childhood, I am fascinated to the world of literature, read books and write letters which led me pursue English hons as my Major.

As a reputed college, Asutosh College had a great faculty and good exposure to the theoretical particulars. We also had common room in which we had games as well as our own play ground for outdoor games. The gender ratio was about 1:1.

Dislikes

The administration process of the Calcutta university is a bit tedious.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum we faced was indeed very open ended in all the theoretical aspects. We also learned quantitative measures as a part of the course. However, compared to the competitive industries it was more theoretical.

The good course, the college is naac A, friendly seniors, many fests, a good alumuni
So many sports activity, cultural program
A good transport avaibility , prime location of the college

No campus, strict teachers, attendance mandatory
Non ac class rooms, no lift, canteen at top floor

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bsc Industrial Fish and Fisheries is one of the best bsc courses right now, it is not like other bsc, it is a professional bsc course, there is a direct market related study, and there are various jobs also available. India being a major producer of fish have a lot of scope in the course, this course encourages entrapenorship as well
