What Students Say

Likes

Practical aspects of academics is promoted here unlike other DU colleges where it is theory that rules.
Students community is quite active here as students organized all the cultural fests, sports and debates competitions.
For quality education in Delhi, DDUC is a solid choice.

Dislikes

The college is close to Haryana border and therefore a majority of students here are from Haryana.

Course Curriculum Overview

BBA is now a thing of the past as my cousins have done BMS from Mumbai University 10 years back. In Delhi, it has been introduced recently but has already been among the most sought after courses. Our class strength is little high and I think that's the only area where college can probably improve a bit. Exams including internals are held twice every semesters.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Placement Experience

For management students, IDBI Federal Insurance, ICICI Bank, and Bajaj Capital are the ones that gave good or should I say worthy placements worth 8-10 lakhs per annum jobs. Almost 60-70% students are placed from our branch every year. The percentage is a little lesser but it will shoot up in years to come.

Fees and Financial Aid

Payment is just 35000 a year for our course which is indeed the most sought after one these days. Fees for SC/ST or all the other reserved categories is quite slim to what general category students have to pay.

Campus Life

Our campus is close to Dwarka Metro station and is in an area of almost 8 crores. A fully air-conditioned cafeteria which accomodates almost 200 students is always full. Reason is needless to say as Rajma Chawal or the sandviches over there are just too good. Our annual fest is Kalrava and during the fest students of all the DU colleges are invited making it one of the grandest events of DU.

Admission

I had a dream of joining ST Stephens but the CUET cut-off for their was 745 and my score was 723. So, i took admissions here. CUET score of 720 and a minimum of 55% in 12th is mandatory for general category students as that's minimum eligibility criteria.

Faculty

Faculties best part is all have good oration skills and are audible even from a distance. No one can hide from them and as a matter of fact, back benchers are taken more serious by them. So all in faculties of DDUC are fun loving but equally strict at the same time.

DTU is academic paradise!!

Placement Experience:

Companies like Google, Hindustan Copper, KPMG, Deloitte and perhaps over a hundred companies come to KPMG. Average placements is around 5 to 6 lakhs. Although many students every year gets placements worth 10 lakhs or more as well.

As per the reports only 30% gets placed and you should build outside relation with companies because companies over here you have not even heard of them, so it's like college not for placement average placement is about just 3.5 LPA

DTU East Campus is Beautiful!

Placement Experience:

From defense like Indian Navy to Indian Army and then companies like Capital Finance, AU Small Finance Bank and others are the ones which prominently offers us intenrships and jobs as well. So, jobs here are quite better than that of DTU.

The college at the end of the year provides with placement fairs where you get high profile companies onboard to hire the students and provide them with industry experience. Appearing 6 th sem students become eligible for placement. Companies like rapido zepto hirey etc come here highest package is around 25 lpa and average of about 4.5 lpa. 50 % placement ratio . I didn't take any placements from the college as I wanted to go for higher studies. But my batchmates took the placements and they were placed with decent packages. The companies that came on campus for BBA batch recruitment, mainly the customer-centric role, sales, and operations roles.

The Reality of DU colleges

Placement Experience:

Iam a first year student and i dont know much about the companies visiting our college. But what I know is there are not alot of placement opportunities in the off campus colleges (there are some exceptions). This is also a reason why companies dont come in these colleges for placement. But if you are form the north campus or south campus you can have alot and better opportunities than the off-campus students

At first i gave my JAT exam which at that time allowed admission only in BMS, BA(economics) and BFIA. I started to look for backup options and found one at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya. The course is available in the cutoff list of DU. Life at DDUC

This college is one of the best colleges in DU with respect to course curriculum as well as placements.
