Likes
- Hindu college is one that is full of extracurricular activities like debates, sports and other competitions.
- The best part of campus is that we have enough common area available to chill with friends or do group study with friends.
- Since it is one of the top DU Colleges, one can easily make good enough networking by studying in the Hindu College.

- If the attendance is short, a letter is sent hone and this to me is a school boy stuff.
Course Curriculum Overview
Economics is the only thing that is working now. Layoffs in almost every sector and yet the financial markets are doing so well. My dad is a stock broker and therefore he persuaded me to take this course. It's early days but I think by the end of it I will have all the knowledge of how micro and macro economics work.
Placement Experience
Many major investment banking firms like JP Morgan, Nomura and others have seen the Hindu College as their go to college in DU. As soon as we are in our final year, the tightening starts as companies over 100 in numbers visit our campus every year. Getting an offer letter worth 50k or rather more from the Hindu College isn't a tough ask as most students are offered jobs in that range.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for Economic Hons is perhaps the highest in Hindu College and still it's just 26870 including tuition fee, library card fee and etc etc. This is for general category students like me otherwise for OBC SC/ST and EWS students it's like free of half of what we end up paying.
Campus Life
If I have to talk about th annual fest, it's called Mecca and it is like as good as any international fest. Artists are invited and our campus has enough area to host the event inside the college. Most DU colleges who are short of area do it outside their campus. Our of many sporting facilities, I think it's the basket ball court that is perhaps the best. There are 2 canteens but the one which is adjacent to the main gate serves the best rajma rice in th world.
Admission
In DU, for every girl it would be a dream or rather more than a dream to go to LSR. The cut off though for LSR is 770 and I got 745. At 745, Hindu College was the best choice as for our course the cut off at Hindu college was 742.
Faculty
Ofcourse we have a huge batch size of 90 students and therefore to manage it the college has deployed enough faculties too. I am in love with all my faculties so naming one or two won't be fair for others. The course is tough but our faculties know how to make it look simple and hence, faculties here are more than awesome.
