Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I need to work in organization , so i choose this Msc corporate psychology course. The curriculum is quite good. We can learn more about organization how it works ,culture etc.. Teaching method can be improved by teaching the students more about practically than theoritically.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee per sem is 37k , so per year it is 74000. And in addition you need to pay exam fee ,like for me for the first exam I need to pay 2600. And if your UG was from outside Karnataka You need to pay for eligibility certificate which is 1000. And there is scholarships but idk in much detail about that

Campus Life

2

Facilities like projector all are available. And for PG students there is only a programme named PG fest. Nothing else is there. And we have access to library till 7 PM. And the library have many kind of reference books. There is also e-access available. I have no idea about the sports. There is and there are many item also.

Admission

In india the course i choose now, was not available everywhere. There only 3 college where this course was available. I choose this college because when i ask the alumini all of them was having good points abt this college and also abt the course.

Faculty

2.5

In my dept, the faculties have work experience in the organization. So in terms of that they are really good. When it comes to teaching its ok. Faculties are quite approachable. And there will be 2 internal exam before the end sem exam. And both the internal exams are mandatory.

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.

From the 2nd last semester, that is the final year, students become eligible for campus placements. Last year, two of our seniors got placed at Reborn Child Development Centre (Durgapur and Asansol) with an average package of Rs 200,000. This year, three students of our batch, including me, got an internship for three months at Reborn through an in-person interview.
