Remarks

As a proud student of Acharya institute of technology I would like to share good and bad remarks. Good things are the campus is beautiful and its big, no pollution, the campus is greenery. The faculty members are friendly and labs are also well maintained

Entrance Preview

Karnataka PGCET I scored 11789 rankI opted this college because Mtech DCE course is good in this college and I wanted to pursue masters in Digital Comm engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is well balanced as per the university syllabus. The syllabus structures are formed by the university for all the courses and the colleges strictly follow the instructions of the university. The class time table and the extra class hours are also well balanced to cover the syllabus in the particular time. Faculty taught us the subjects with in-depth knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies provided internships and placements for students.Ex: HP, saskeen, Unysys, Infosys, Cognizant.Top stipend offered by HP 15000 per month.

Placement Experience

4.5

More than 500 students placed in the 2015 academic year.Infosys, Cognizant, Igate,L&T,avaya,HP etc.All companies offered 3L packages for placed ones. Infosys offered 3.5L package for Mtech students. 7000 was the basic pay and other DA HRA and other allowances summed up to 21000 per month.

College Events

4.5

Biggest event in our college is Acharya Habba Which is celebrated for 7 days with all technical and cultural events and sports activities. The technical events are like paper presentation, robotics, science modelling, mini coding contest seminars and workshops on needed technical subjects etc. The cultural events are like dance, traditional events etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For middle class people the fees structure looks expensive. As unaided college the fee structure is same as other unaided colleges. But I felt the fees is expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

No idea about this column as I didn't try for scholarships and loans. But the college supports the Scholorship schemes which are given to poor students by the Indian government like government of India scholarship for SC ST students and scholarships for minority students and epass and kpass scholarships also.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life was beautiful and left lots of memories with me. The college has sports and cultural department which promote the extracurricular activities like sports and cultural events. The events were organized nicely and maintained by coordinators and volunteers. "Awesomest place for technical education in Bengaluru" Acharya Institute of tech is located in soldevanhalli is a big and beautiful campus and the environment inside the campus also beautiful for studying as well as enjoying. All departments are good fac

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I stayed in PG . PG's charge some 4500-5000 per month. near to college there are more PG's all are well furnished and with all facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

Off course the seniors suggestions are more valuable in choosing the right colleges and also choosing the correct course. Before the counseling process I contacted more seniors for the info regarding college and course and most of them suggested me Acharya institute and the DCE course.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs are organized as per the university syllabus. Few labs were hectic but over the experience was chilling.

The courses they offer are not so relative to our stream. We also had questioned this to higher authorities. But they just say that the syllabus is fixed and they cant help . And if we need to pass we have to study those subjects.

Campus placement conditions have improved in IISc after the inception of campus placement cell. Average package is around I would say 25 lpa. Since most of the students go for higher studies from IISc hence, you will see the placement percentage to be low. Personality I am also going for higher studies.
