Remarks

It has an amazing campus, it's a little away from the city, it's easily connected with public transport like metro, BMTC, railway. It's one of the few colleges which provide the course which I've opted. The alumni of the college told me that this college is good for the course which I've chosen. It's having very good hostel facilities'.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is fine, it's the same for all the colleges affiliated with VTU and the college is strictly following it, all the faculties are good and are having a good knowledge of the subject. I have no idea about industrial exposure as it's not part of the 1st year curriculum.

Placement Experience

4

There are software companies like wipro, tcs, midtree visiting. there are more companies visiting for cs and is branches. other branches are receiving average companies. There is a placement cell which takes care of all the placements.

College Events

5

It hosts Acharya Habba every year, which lasts for around one month in which all the hackathons, technical, non- technical, cultural, sports, and everything else is hosted. It's a very big event, students from all over bangalore participate in it, especially the cultural events like concerts.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarship for reserved category students only, which is provided by the government, The college is providing 0% interest loan to all the students.

Campus Life

I think it's the biggest campus in bangalore, with 120 acres of land containing all the facilities like a small forest, artificial lake, gym, indoor sports center, full size cricket and football stadium, basketball court, hockey court, volleyball court. All the branches of engineering course are having separate, uniquely designed buildings. It's having one of the best library in bangalore. It's having all the facilities, it's very well designed. There are huge and spacious labs with all the required equipments. There is no wifi in the entire campus, it's only having wifi at few spots. It's having a coffee shop, canteen, pizza and a few other fast food stalls in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels rooms are small but are well designed, there are all the facilities like hot water, Wi-Fi, laundry, water purifiers in all the floors, 24 hours power supply, ethernet and the internet speeds are decent. There are 2-3 hostels of the college so there won't be a problem in getting hostels. In college hostels it has 2 sharing and 3 sharing rooms. But there a problem, that the boys hostel students should come to hostel mess itself for lunch which is a bit far considering the lunch break time. The hostel is very well designed it's having adequate parking, huge mess (2 floors) and food stalls. there are numerus pg's around the campus. PG's range from ‰â_ 45000- ‰â_100000

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chosed artificial intelligence and data science because it has a very good future.the world now is depending on ai so its very useful for me to get a job. My college and the faculties r really preparing us so well for the real world applications. But they can still improve in the teaching methods. The frequency of the exams r really very good and even the time is very efficient, it will be quite difficult but its for improvement of our practical thinking.

Our curriculum includes syllabus in regard to that of National Education Policy scheme where in we have 2 core subjects. I chose biotechnology and genetics since it something I really look forward to pursue as my career in the field. We had one subject as open elective which enhanced our curriculum since we could choose from various course every semester.
