Festivals and programs are the main attraction

College located in rural area.Have to walk a lot.
Politics in college and in mens hostel .
Disturbance of dogs and mostly at night in college and hostles

Course Curriculum Overview

Very less time for syllabus completion and studies.Teaching methods are somewhat alright.The curriculam of KTU is shit.College timings are from 9 to 4. 6 hours classes everyday from monday to thursday expect friday where it is 5 hours.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester,Campus placements are offered.The highest package offered was 14 lpa and the average package was 2 lpa in almost all government colleges under KTU.More than 75% of students are getting placed.

Campus Life

Campus life is the main attraction of the college.Lots of fests and programs are happens every week.There are a lot of opportunities for enhancing the skills and sports.There are also clubs like IEEE,ISTE,etc

Hostel Facilities

Very few students are alloted in mens hostels in first year.Have to submit the documents for getting allotment in hostel like income certificate and they also check the distance between the college and your house.

Hostel Fee: INR 6500 per year

Admission

Didn't get the desired college or branch.My desired branch was CS or ECE in an IIT or NIT.My rank was not enough to get into my desired college.I got admission in FISAT,Angamaly in second allotment and later this college in third allotment

Faculty

The college is under the university KTU(APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University).It's the worst university in India.Classes starts very late and have to complete the six month syllabus in three months.

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

They provide placement packages from a minmum of 4lpa to 12 lpa.. But most of the students got 4 lpa packages, it is very difficult to crack higger packages, but most of the cs students got placement andd students of other departments palcement is not good.

While assured placement is offered to students with minimal or no backlog papers, others are also placed, albeit with comparatively lower annual packages. Majority of the talented students are placed in Cognizant and TCS Ninja with an average annual package of 10 to 12 lakh. I actually plan to pursue higher studies after Btrch.
