Remarks

Management only focuses on college structure, not students structures if my college thinks about students more compare to their infrastructure then I am 200 % sure it will be a game changing point. But the new director has taken action against it. They have started too many technical events I appreciate it.

Entrance Exam

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course structure is a little bit bad not fully but still some improvement required in this field. Some syllabus is useless if you want to prepare for the GATE entrance exam. The syllabus is much more in a theoretical way less amount of practical works in our academics. Labs are also not too good.

Internships Opportunities

No college does not provide an internship. If anybody gets they get by their own approach or own link but College provide 15 days training program for the first year students..in this.. we go to our respective workshops and learn to handle different components machines

Placement Experience

3

Placement is not high as NITs and IITs but yes it is better than many state level colleges. In the last few years it is degrading but now it is stable and hopefully, it will improve over time. Many companies visit the campus like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and many more.

College Events

4

A technical fest and various other events are conducted in college. Various cultural and technical fest are conducted and this college has different clubs according to the interest of student he can opt for anyone like photography, robotics, etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is one of the cheapest engineering colleges in India. The fee is 26000 including hostel fees, this college is economical than many other engineering colleges. One big reason for taking admission in this institute is its fee structure. Fees at that time when I took admission that was 26000 only for 6 months. Not any extra hostel charges only mess fee every month 2300. Admission fee, library fee and hostel charge all include in 26000.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the scholarship, college helps. There is Sikh minority scholarship for Sikh students & student who are economically weaker and having scheduled caste certificate and get tuition fee redemption. This college doesn't provide any loan facilities.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Wifi facility is available throughout the college & hostel speed is fairly fast, the library is well equipped and labs have a good configuration PC. The medical facility is available on campus there is a health center for the same. Labs have an adequate number of PC and all labs in the computer department are air conditioned. There is a good area for sports activities. The hostel also has badminton court and table tennis. The hostel is good and the auditorium of this institute is outstanding. It is one of the cheapest engineering college in India

Alumni/Alumna

If I will talk my experience then it is two part first 2.5 years good and last 1.5 year worst in last 1.5 year I waste my days but currently, I am at this position because of my 2.5 years. Alumni are good but not more supportive. Seniors are also not more in supportive

Exam Structure

The exam is conducted semester wise. After every 6 Months, the final exam which is called Major are conducted and students are then promoted to next semester. After every 2 months, Minor is conducted by the college which also plays a major role in improving your score

Admission

For admission in this College, you have to score good marks in JEE mains if you have done +2 in science and if you have diploma then you can get admission by scoring good marks in the SET exam which is conducted by Sliet itself

Faculty

3

The teacher is qualified and has good knowledge. Teaching quality is average. Teachers give a lecture and presentation for a better understanding. The curriculum is given by Aicte & that is followed. Staff is helpful if the student has some question and want to ask something he can ask and the staff is coordinating here

Placement Experience:

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.
