Very good college with world class infrastructure and proposed name for the Institute of Eminence by Government of India. Got Best Central University award by President of India in the year 2016. World Small University rankings under 100.

Entrance Exam

Course and curriculum are up to the AICTE norms and equivalent to IITs and follow the foreign author Books. The college has nos. Of lab for the specific course and maintain a standard decorum. Here, It has 6 departments of Engineering.

College provides internship to the student of other college and there is no stipend given to the student, but the student can avail Hostel and mess facility by paying less money. They can guided by professor of different departments.

Placement is quite good, Nos. Of Alumni is placed in multi-national corporations. They have good packages and Nos. Of students are pursuing their higher degree in foreign universities and IITs, NITs, etc.

Techxetra is the biggest fest of the college organized by the Engineering student, INSIGNIS is a Science fest organized by Science faculty students on Science day and the business management guy organizes Sampark.

The fee is quite less depending upon the facilities, because its a government institution so one is getting the world class infrastructure and services in that amount of money. For B.tech it is 2 lacs total fee for 4 years excluded mess fee.

The scholarship provides by different state governments and central government. But the institute only provides few scholarships to Poor and meritorious students from SC/ST category based upon the score in the exam.

In each department has its separate lab for each course and there is some central lab also. Sports facilities are good, Playground, swimming pool, Indoor Badminton court, basketball court, etc are there.

Hostel facility is best, 24*7 water, electricity, WiFi connection provided. Each room only two students are boarded with a personal wardrobe, table, chair, light, bed and also a window. Mess food is hygienic.

Alumni have good communication with the current student, there are different channels for that and also have an Alumini website centrally and separately in each department. One can easily connect with Alumni.

There is 4 exam total for a subject and two of them are of 25 marks which may be Assignment work or MCQ exam depends upon professor and One is mid semester exam of 40 marks and one is the final exam of 60 marks. There may be a practical exam of 50 marks depends upon course requirements and students get their grades on their performance in these exams.

I got Admission through Central Seat Allocation board counseling which is based upon the JEE main, Because it is central University and funded by the Government of India so the student can get admission only through merit.

Faculty are good and most of them get their Ph.D. from Foreign universities, IITs, BITs, etc. My department has 23 faculty. They are selected based upon their NET exam and Personal Interview and Research works. They also involved plenty of Research projects.
