Likes

Graduation course is really affordable in delhi university. Infrastructure is also good of delhi university.
Course curriculum is also very easy, you can easily pass your exam if you are average student
Campus life is better than enginnering college because study pressure is very low compared to engineering college

Dislikes

There is no placement available, you'll became jobless after graduation
College infrastructure is also not very good
Faculty of college can be better , some contractual staff is hired which is not very good

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is designed very good . You have to do master after graduation or go for Mba after graduation. Curriculum prepares you for real world application. Exams are conducted 2 times in a year . Exams are very easy in delhi university

Fees and Financial Aid

Since this is government college of delhi university fee is very less ie 10000/annum which is also refundable if your family income is low . My batchmate applied for scholarship and easily get scholarship from college .

Campus Life

Fest are conducted every year in which singer or celebrity are invited. Every college of Delhi University fest are amazing. Library is also good in college . Sports and extracurricular activities are also offered on campus

Admission

I applied for all college of delhi university but I was alloted this college only after counseling. Now cuet has come for admission but in my times there was percentage cutoff . Cuet is mandatory for admission in delhi university now .

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is good ie 1:10, since this is good goverment university almost all faculty members are PhD holders which is good for understanding the curriculum. Exams are conducted for each semester ie 2 times in a year . You can easily pass the exam if you are average student

A college review full of pros and cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

Though i think maths is a great subject as it is what gives birth to every field but within course it self its all theory and pure maths i thing real application would be appreciated we do have practical for 1 subject each sem thats it should he more.

The Life of A DRC student

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.

i think it's very outdated and not of any practical use unless you go for research and scientific fields of science. it does not prepare much for the real world and current market but teaches about biology and chemistry which helps sometimes. the frequency if exam is fine.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

KMC- Path to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.

St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college. The cut-offs on which the admission matters had a massive difference in the kind of marks i had vs the actual cut-off of St Stephens.
