IIT Kharagpur...A dream to to many aspirants

I wanna go to IIT Kharagpur since when I am studying 9th class. And also I got a good rank, soo good course, so I choose this course. As I am second year student I cannot describe more about the curriculum. But I think it's the best curriculum so many people are getting placed.

From 5th semester we can get internships and in 4th year we will get placements. Many companies like Amazon Google IBM... Etc visit us for placements there are about 70 companies that visit us. According to google: 1,675 students out of 2,490 registered were placed in 2022-23 batch I wanna do an software job and my dream is to become an employee at google

Per each semester they charge one lakh rupees as tution fee. So per two semesters two lakh rupees. Other expenses like hostel food wifi electricity etc they charge about 50 thousand to one lakh per year. So per year fee is 2.5 lakhs to 3 lakhs I will rate it 6 out of 10 in affordability because many other IIT in the same range are affordable then this. I think there is a few waiver for category people (SC-ST-Physically disabled). They don't need to pay the tution fee so remaining fee i.e., 50k -1 lakh is enough for each year

The campus life is very good here. Deewali is very grandly celebrated. We will call it as illumination. Where each hall of residence devolops artworks using the series of lights. and their two great fests that will happen on January those are Kstrij and spring fest we will enjoy most of the time there

We have many basic needs like electricity, wifi, drinking water etc. They won't compromise on these. The menu here is mainly north indian type we cannot find the south varieties that's the only fault remaining everything is the best of all kinds. They(IIT) will assign us to an particular hall then we can go to that hall. registration is very simple just we have to fill up an form. it's done

I also applied for IIT Hyderabad computers course but my rank is not enough.and I also applied for IITBHU(Varanasi) computers course. It got alloted to me on mock round but I think IITKGP is better so I changed the options The admission process means first we have to write jee mains if we qualify that we have to write jee advanced which consists of two papers if we clear the cutoffs in each subject and also complete cutoffs we will get an rank in JEE Advanced. If that rank is good we can apply for different IITs on Josaa. And then there are 5-6 rounds we can freeze it in which ever round we want.If we freeze it out admission will be confirmed.

I think currently the faculty-to- student ratio is about 1:19. The faculty will teach good. But there is no bonding at all between the professors and students. There are no particular faculty that I like and hate the most. Maximum all the exams are tough. I cannot give the exact number. But I see many of my friends failing their exams.
