Likes
- The very first fact that the campus is in Banglore is very favourite part.
- It is university so you can mingle and make friends with other department student whether it maybe of Architecture, Design or Comemrece or Liberal Arts and other courses.
Dislikes
- The campus is still under construction, it is not completely constructed but majority is completed.
- Campus is a bit far from the city, so going out might be a little bit expensive due to high cab prices.
- You cannot get Swiggy, Blinkit orders delivery to the campus yet. But you can get Bigbasket orders and all other Amazon and Flipkart or whatever platform orders delivered.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are always updated by professors. The college also provides you with free access to different platforms( Course era) so you can upskill yourself. Every class is equipped with projectors and white boards. The classes are also recorded in real time for the people who weren't able to attend the class.
Internships Opportunities
I haven't got any internship as of right now( I am in 2nd year). But some of my friends have worked as interns by giving interviews and applying for them by themselves and for our seniors the college helped in getting internships and depending on the skill set of the students , the companies have offered stipend too.
Placement Experience
The placement have only started this year in our campus. Our branch is a new one so the placements are still going on and the exact number of avg placements and percentage of people got placed is still not out. But the management is trying their best to get as many as companies to campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no reservation to get into the university using MET. And each year the Tution fee is 4,66,250. You can get scholarships only if you got below 100 rank in MET exam for the first year.For the rest of years if you have the highest CGPA in your respective courses you will be eligible for scholarships.
Campus Life
The clubs are still not so active as their in other colleges but the students are always putting efforts to make it better. There is a ban of 45 days for no contact between seniors and juniors to prevent ragging on campus. The boys to girls ratio is good enough compared to other colleges. After the 45 days there will be many activities that will be taking place.
Hostel Facilities
The food quality is very good but the taste is average and we have two mess providers for the students. Students can choose the mess providers according to their wish. And can change at the end of every month. The rooms and campus facilities are managed by a company called Zolo and they maintain the hostels very clean.
Admission
You have to write MET exam to get into this university. I have also applied for Amrita for AI.DS course but due to a counselling process I was unable to secure the desired seat I was expecting in the desired college. So I have opted for MIT Banglore.
Faculty
Almost all the faculty are either Ph.D holders or trying to get Ph.D in their respective fields and of you are interested to write a paper always the professors will help you. There are three exams in each sem for theory 1.Quiz(10 marks) 2.Midsems(30 marks) 3. Endsem(50 marks) 4. Assignment( 10 marks)
