College life

I was very eager to carry my studies in accounting or management. These subjects were of my interest which encouraged me to choose bachelor of commerce that is accounting Honours. This course is very practical. In the 4 years of graduation we can get all the practical even theoretical knowledge related to accountancy. But yes with comparison to bachelor of business administration this course is tough as we have to deal with accounts and concept or basic knowledge should be strong to cope up with the subjects and score good. Our examination are held every 6 months. Sometimes the time period may vary but usually its 6 months. But in the new NEP Rule which is implemented this year few subjects are given which do not have any relation with thia course. So according to me those subjects are very time taking and of no use.

So admission fees for college was 16000 for the course. We have to pay monthly fees in college which is 3000 and few times we need to pay extra for University registration and various other norms. Other than that various other payments are also being done for college purpose.

There are various programs which includes cultural, related to studies , games and others. This is a very good way to involve students to various activities . Also various certificate courses are done which can add to our job resume. Various types of sports are there indoor and outdoor even girls have cricket match . Various clubs or committees are also there from where students learn to work as a group.

I applied in various colleges and also I was selected. But due to some issues i had to get admission here. To be very honest i was not interested to get admission here but i had to. But now i feel that this 1 year of college had really helped me to grow or develop my personality and self confidence. I got to know various capabilities of me and as a result i can now improve those skills. Admission procedure includes filling up the forms then the merit list comes on the basis of highest marks in boards. Eligibility criteria in our college is 65% . Students with and above 65% can apply and get admission.

We have semester system. That is in four years degree of B.com Honours we have 8 semesters. Internal exams includes various assignments, presentation, exams and then the external or final exams are taken on basis of which credit is given which adds to the cgpa. And our faculty members are really good , they are very supportive with their students and very helpful.
