Course Curriculum Overview

The courses & curriculum is very good,they professors are very well & i did not have economics in 12th so that day was my first class but there was a maam who explained economics like fine wine. Everything is good here

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 42000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I really dont know about this but the internship start from 2nd or 3rd semester i guess there are multiple companies comes to college & deserving students get a chance to work woth them. But they give opportunities.

Placement Experience

Idk but i guess students become eligible from 2nd or 3rd sem. Idk what is the company visited but the placements are very good i heard that, avg package varies 2.4 lpa I guess. Right now i am doing internship so as of now i don't have plans.

Fees and Financial Aid

I will be paying 19k per sem but they took 3k for admission fees 1k miscellaneous & idk i got general my merit score was good 251 batchmatealso having same fees & class will start soon & orientation will also happen soon

Campus Life

Our college have ripples where there are multiple events also many celebrities comes here in that event this year pradox is coming & also students gets duties to help the programme & make a massive hit.

Admission

No i did not get rejected from any college. I was willing to go Bhawanipur only but that's very far from my home also Bhawanipur education society doesn't has attendance problem & i didn't want any attendance problem that's why i choosef this college.

Faculty

The college faculty members are good & well, idk the faculty ratio btw but their relationship is good. I really don't know faculty's well but they are good. There are quite few exam & idk how many students fail & not be able to clear thei Exam.

Interview Experience

No i haven't faced anything i directly got admitted just by showing my results. I guess there is no written test or admission cause idk this side about the college. They told me to fill online form ehich i did & paid the admission fees & done

Night Life

There are few cafés because our college located in chiria more & theres is cafe named mint sqare cafe which is few seconds walking distance from our college but i never visited it,but overall the night life experience is good i heard that.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Placement Experience:

At our college placements are good and many core companies or finance and IT are here for placements and intenrships as well. Average placements from what I have checked is around 4-5 lakhs per year for B.Com (Hons) students.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.
