Course Curriculum Overview

5

• The specific aspects of the curriculum are the subjects including in this course are related to the industry that will help students to build their career in this competitive world and I choose the course as I wanted to pursue a professional course after graduation. • The curriculum prepares us pretty well for real world applications as there are subjects like management that helps students to understand things very clearly and apply it in the real world. • The frequency and timing of exams is perfect and my perspective on the difficulty level is that the exams are not at all difficult.

Fees and Financial Aid

• The year wise fees I paid was ?2,570 • i) Tution Fees- ?2,570 ii) Exam Enrollment- ?600 • The fees of my batchmates for other categories were also the same that was- ?2,570 • A scholarship named Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is also available for students for financial aid and the amount is ?1,000 per month.

Campus Life

3

i) The festivals that are held in the college are social fest every year in the month of January and freshers welcome in the month of November. • Not every book but most of the books and journals are available in the library. • The facilities within the classrooms are average. • Inter-college basketball tournaments are held every year in the college campus. • The students who run social groups, clubs or student portals are very good at their work and it doesn't impact their academics.

Admission

• I applied to i) Burdwan Raj College, ii) Durgapur Government College, iii) Asansol Girls College, iv) Trivenidevi Bhalotia College, v) BB College and vi) Bidhannagar Chandra College. The colleges I got confirmed admission from was i) Burdwan Raj College and ii) Asansol Girls College. I choose this college because it is closet to my home and quite affordable also.

Faculty

4

• The relationship between the faculty to student is quite easy going as the faculty members are very helpful and approachable. • The name of the facilities I liked was Mr. Sanjit Sarkar. I liked him because he is very helpful and easy going. The professors guided us through the course all of them are very helpful. • There are 3 years and 6 semesters so every year we have to give 2 exams on a gap of 6 months and the exams were quite easy. 80% students pass and rest were not able to clear the exams. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant to the exams.

Night Life

4

• There is a gym in the college which is open to all the students during the college hours and also after the college hours. • Campus timings are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. • The Best hangout place is the college canteen and the playground. And yes the locality is safe to roam around at night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average
