College doesn't have good cafeteria it doesn't have good connectivity to city also best part of college is its extra curricular activity and academics.

Entrance exam as AIEEE but now a days it replaced by iit JEE mains i got 10584 all india rank i opted this college for its good reputation.

There were 8 semesters course curriculum is same as all nit there is compulsory vocational training after 3rd year and there is project in 4th year from 5th semester there are 2 electives in every semesters but electives were just allotted by faculty itself so i didn't remember every one's name.

There are some paid internship like tata steel which conduct an entrance test there several others for computer and electronics student but for core branch paid internship is limited one but every student get internship if you find difficulty the faculties make sure you get it.

For computer and electronics students its heaven if you are talented then sky is limit for it sector there is long list of companies some big name are microsoft facebook amazon flipkart oracle adobe but for core branch it is not same due to psu taking its recruitment through GATE it have only private companies for them and do not offer lucrative money but almost every student get placed from every branch.

Technical fest is "ojass" and cultural fest is "utkarsh" this is 2nd largest after iitkgp's fest in eastern india many no of student participate in fest from eastern india cultural fest have shows of band like "euphoria" and shows like tvf people visit like om puri.

I was from 2009 to 2013. fee as 21600 approx/sem which includes hostel fee but it has been hiked which i don't know exactly mess fee was 8000/sem with daily basis counting there is high speed internet in hostel also most of the facility is provided by college itself like bus for going to city it was very feasible.

There are scholarship for category students by govt there are also some private company offering scholarship like jindal and tata steel but for private companies scholarship one must pass its entrance exam and also it is very limited in number.

Gender ratio is very low rest of things are awesome "ojass" is college technical festival and "utkarsh" is cultural fest which largest after iitkgp's fest in eastern india also there many cultural artistic and sports society in college.

There are 9 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel every students get hostel facility for first 2 year there will be shared acommodation but for last 2 year every one gets single room mess food are not up to the mark there are a mega hostel under constuction.

College has separate alumni portal every year in month of jan feb it organizes alumni meet in these session 1 day is reserved for student interaction with alumni.

There 3 exams/sem labs have good in condition and it do happens frequnetly some teacher are very strict so you can't miss there class and lab but for others its chilled out.

Some of faculty are among finest in country they authors some are just good and some are average also since it is govt college so quality of faculty is not all good.
